It shows how selfless Dooku really is. He didn’t care about himself gaining all the power like Vader and Sidious did. He just wanted a less corrupt system in the galaxy since he though, rightly so, that the Jedi Order was corrupt.

Therefore we can safely conclude the reasonability of this statement and all of it's meanings in every way and now it is for the most part possibly true and provable to answer the question with the point that has been proven as true beyond most reasonable doubts and all conclusions that it is foremost correctly specified that the numeric value of positive 1 added by the exact equivalent value of itself, or by another definition, multiplied by the positive numeric value of the absolute value of two, is indeed equivalent to the numeric value of positive 1 added by the exact equivalent value of itself which is indeed now completely provable to become equivalent to the numeric value official known by most sources and people as, in fact, 2.

I'm pretty sure he followed Sidious because of political motivations (empire) and to learn more about the dark side to complete the study of the force. For me is a grey jedi absolutely not a black jedi or a sith and this is why he has no red eyes. He didn't, because sith live in passion of path and feelings which consume and enpower them, and Dooku is an harsh and cold noble who can't release and show his emotions.

Dooku's other more defining reason for leaving the Jedi Order:
The council dismissed the idea that Quigon was killed by a Sith, and it enraged him given that Quigon was Dooku's Apprentice once.
Not to mention that the Order had grown weak in his eyes. He was a warrior, he prided himself on his combat skills and that the Jedi were doing nothing to stamp out corruption.
And Dooku did crave power, but not to the extent that typical Sith did.
My opinion, he wanted real purpose and real combat challenges.
It was pretty clear he reveled in heat of battle, he was genuinely happy when he fought Anakin the last time, even taunting Anakin to face him one on one.
I'm more thinking that it was his delusions that caused him to not have the eyes. He saw himself as a liberator, a savior.
Plus I think he was more ignorant of what the Sith actually are. Sidious more than likely told him "the sith are the real force of good" which would explain a lot.

He has Sith eyes in Clone Wars, the animated series. The eyes are, like you said, a physical representation of immersion of the dark side. He was only immersed when in battle, since he was such an exceptional duelist and used the dark side to increase his ability to clash.
Outside of battle, he was level headed and didn’t lean on the dark side to influence his decision making skills. He was the padawan of freaking Yoda, the 2nd most chill being in the galaxy.
Also, the channeling of lightning, which Doku is proficient with, confirms he knows how to immerse himself with the dark side, since it’s an ability known to dark side users, presumably because of the way midichlorians have to be altered in order to perform such an ability.
Al that to say, yes, Doku has Sith eyes, and there are some reasons/ explanations above. As Plagues said, lack of an entire physical change shows lack of immersion of the dark side. Doesn’t mean they lack immersion ENTIRELY

I think Dooku is more of a Grey Jedi then a Sith. He turned his back on the Jedi order, embrace aspects of the dark, but didn't seek ultimate power. the rule of two says the master embodies, the apprentice craves it. Dooku didn't grave power, he craved justice. if that meant taking the mantel of a sith lord, so be it. that is almost what a Grey Jedi would do.

It's stupid to generalize the Sith culture to one alignment of personality. That would be incredibly shallow. The Sith are an entire civilization, created by dissident priests and dark Jedi from the Jedi order, with its homeworld in Korriban and spawning a myriad worlds in its territory.
The rule of two was stablished by Darth bane, but it's not an absolute rule and the Sith may or may not follow it, as they may create new rules and forms to organize themselves...
Being a Sith does NOT mean being evil. The world isn't black and white

    • @MybeautifulandamazingPrincess

Who is the good and the bay side, is a matter or point of view. The Jedi try to kill anyone who uses the dark side, even on their own flanks, thus dark Jedi fleeing into exile and becoming dissidents, or the grey Jedi.
The Jedi are incredibly hypocritical and have commited many atrocities and war crimes in the name of balance and pretending to be good, they let slavery run free in the very republic and many other horrid practices, that's why count Doku left the Jedi and hated them, same with general Grievous who hated the Jedi for their crimes.
The force doesn't have light or dark side, its just the force

Here's a question: Dooku is, in a lot of ways, a Jedi in Sith robes (for reasons explained in the video, of course.) Among the Jedi at any point, was there ever a character who, despite honest allegiance to the Jedi and general goodness, still philosophically operated more as a Sith? Like, an inverted Dooku?

  • @papaofthejohns5882
    @papaofthejohns5882 Před 7 lety +3

Adding to your point of Dooku not having evil goals or being angry, he always seemed like a mixture of Sith and Jedi, not really either fully but a bit of two worlds. He used his Jedi learned techniques, he was not rageful, he meditated a lot (Which SIth also do but it's more of a Jedi trait) however he employed Sith powers such as Sith Lightning and so fourth. If you ask me he's a hero in his own right, wanted nothing but a better universe and using unorthodox methods to achieve it after feeling the good methods failed and the loss of his friend and mentor as well as having the right idea but being rejected by his peers. He was also very close to becoming a Grey Jedi due to the balance of both Sith and Jedi and having ultimately noble goals.
