I don’t want this to come across negatively, so please please don’t think I am. I get confused with the new camera angles. When it’s a side view of you talking to another camera. 🤔. I really appreciate you going over your clothes. Very helpful as I plan my hike to Kilimanjaro in a couple of years! When I hiked Mt. Fuji over a decade ago during a night hike the best advice I received was to bring an extra set of gloves because people always lose one! And sure enough, I did--with the high altitude--lightheadedness and the dark things happen!

    QUESTIONS!
    - As a lady, how did bathroom breaks go through out the day as you were hiking. You’ve stated in your videos about having to use the bathroom multiple times through out the hike due to how much water you’re consuming.
    - In your group, did you have anyone traveling alone? If so, did they have their own tent or did they have to share? Do you by any chance know what KA’s policy is on that?
    - Last One! Could you please please please type out the brands of ALL the clothes you bought/invested in for the trip? I would love to start stocking up now even if I’m 2 years out from my trip! haha
Thank you for the AWESOME video!

      Brands we used and like:
Merino wool shirts/baselayers - Smartwool, Icebreaker
Rain gear - Marmot, Arc'teryx, Rab (gore-tex is the best)
      Insulated jackets/fleeces - Patagonia, Arc'teryx
      Pants/shirts/clothing - Kühl, Arc'teryx, Marmot
      Hiking boots - Merrell, Keen
As far as backpacks go, Osprey and Deuter make some of the best.

You mentioned for your shirts - Marina Will? I am just not sure what that line of gear is. And, did I notice that your puff jacket was patigonia. Exciting! Which route are you climbing?
Merino Wool is what I was talking about regarding the shirts. It's a great material for hiking clothes as it breathes well, regulates temperature, and it doesn't hold body odor as bad as other materials.
Patagonia is a brand I love. Really good quality stuff. Arc'teryx, Icebreaker and Marmot are other brands that I'm familiar with and enjoy their stuff. There are other good brands, but those are the first ones that come to mind that I'm most familiar with. Hope this helps!

@@javiervera7025 Yes, we used the same boots on summit day. I would just recommend having some really warm socks and maybe even some of those small heat packs to put in your boots or gloves depending on how warm your gear is and how cold it is on your summit climb.
As for the camera, your iPhone 14 will do a perfectly good job. I would recommend bring a battery bank to make sure you have plenty of battery power when it's time to summit. On cold days and during the summit climb I would keep the phone inside my layers of clothing and in a pocket that's close to my body. Extreme cold will drain batteries very fast and may even prevent your phone from turning on. Use your body heat to keep your phone/camera batteries from dying and they will work perfectly well when you need them on the summit.
      Good luck!
