- A vital cog in the wheel of horse racing anywhere in the world are the times done by horses during exercise periods. The task of getting those exercise times is the responsibility of the clockers. Tony Chadman has been a clocker for many decades. He reveals the work done by clockers, and also his personal career.
Big up my friend Tony a truly hardworking member of team....as always well done QG
Thanks, Sir.

Sir Garrett - thanks for your comments.
Thanks for the insight. Eloquent interviewee
Indeed, it was a good interview
Most times, they would identify a horse by the groom leading it. Other times, it's by the markings, for example: a streak or striped face or even 3 white legs/bobbysox, etc. The death of Hopeton "Hopie" Clarke and more recently Donovan "the clockman" Cunningham have left a huge void in the "identifying procedure" of horses, especially the unraced ones, I'm quite sure. Big up yourself, Tony Chadman, you're a true journeyman in your own right!!!!
These guys have a hard job
@THE QUICK GALLOPER Even harder now with the aforementioned two that are deceased. They're missed dearly bro!!! Horses that would return from lengthy respites weren't even a problem for them and both of them used to visit the equine pool regularly for that main purpose.
