My friend was a ball boy at the emirates and he said that every time. Tim Howard kicked the ball up the pitch for a goal kick he would start randomly swearing. It all makes sense now

My daughter (9) has Tourette’s and so many of the traits he’s describing are true of her too. It’s great for her to see someone in the public eye with the same as her.

I have an 11yo with tourettes too and he has a list of celebrities with tourettes that includes Mozart, Dan Aykroyd, Howie Mandel, David Beckham and Billie Eilish.❤ He looks at it when the tics suck and tell himself it brings good traits too.

I didn't see any ticks. I guess the condition has upsides of athletic proficiency. As a boy I played with a guy who ticked a lot by the eye but he was prolific goal scorer.

I tried a lot of different medications. They dulled the senses and had intolerable side effects. I decided it was better to deal with the tics and feel good.

yeah that was me too. except whenever i had medications they tended to just make the other tics worse, so one week id take a med for vocal and the next week the vocal tics would stop and the moder tics would get way worse
