Poppy is honestly probably the most underrated and most versatile artist these days. I think she’s incapable of releasing a bad song, that’s just my opinion. I like that she doesn’t care what people think and just does whatever she wants sonically.
As someone who grew up on 90’s grunge, riot grrl, and industrial rock, this is the shit. Poppy making some spooky but cute alternative rock. I’m so into it.

at first i loved her pop stuff, then the metal stuff thew me off but then i fell in love with that too, now this is throwing me off but I’m sure I’ll fall in love with it soon. Poppy is great at easing into genre shifts and slowly dominating every genre.
I loved the metal album so much. A bit sad she hasn't stayed in the genre but then again is Poppy we're talking about. Constant changes in style are to be expected.
It reminds me alot of what Gwen Stefani did. She was open to different styles.

The best thing about this is how much is shows she is doing what she wants and isn't catering to others for approval. After the success of the metal stuff the easiest thing for her to do would have been to keep down that path and play to that crowd.

If you spend every waking moment per year listening to only new songs, you'll probably manage to listen to 10% of the music created per year. There are tons of real artists making music out there, but if you're sitting there staring at a Top 100 billboards section hoping they'll pop up there, you're obviously going to be sorely disappointed.

This song is catchy and I can see myself dancing to it...however it doesn't have that super weird poppy feel, that I LOVE.
