  • Hello, today I made Galbi-jjim, one of Korea's most popular beef dishes. I give a little twist on the cooking method. Hope you guys enjoy the video! Thank you!
    Today’s menu:
    -Galbi-jjim (Serving 3-4)
    3.5lbs Beef short ribs
    450ml Beef Demi-glace
    2 Turnips
    3 Potatoes
    1/2 Carrot
    1 Onion
    1bunch Green onion
    10-12 Shishito peppers
    Sauce:
    1 Onion
    1/2 Carrot
    1bunch Green onion
    4cloves Garlic
    1cup Soy sauce
    1cup Water
    1/2cup Mirin
    1/2cup Brown sugar
    1/4cup Sesame oil
    1/2tsp Pepper
    2tsp Ginger powder
    Feel free to use stock or water instead of demi-glace.

    Hello friend! Nice video, concise , not too much going on, not too long or too short, explaining your steps. I love the idea of this dish, since I'm not very familiar with Korean cuisine and will definitely try this! Love the precision of adding vegetables at different times to achieve more textures and flavours.

      Sorry if it was disturbing! 😫But I just wiped some excessive fat, saved most of the fond! I’ll figure out the better way next time. ;)
