  • Well what a bike this is! It’s absolutely insane how great modern e-bikes are, the new Bosch Race motor is an absolute delight to ride!
Thank you to Rob Rides EMTB for the loan of the bike!

I hear so many people say they’re not ready for an ebike and I always tell them this…I can tune my ebike to be equal or even more difficult than an analog bike. However, you cannot make an analog bike an ebike. If you really want to train hard, detune your ebike to 10% assist…if that’s not enough, turn it off and I guarantee you will work! I love my ebike and I will never go back!

I think a lot of why I don’t want one yet is down to how they ride, they’re very stable, very planted and I prefer my current bikes as they’re a bit more sprightly around. I’ve found from the e-bikes I’ve ridden they require a little more pull to get them skipping around down a trail

I’ve owned several e-bikes and based on your riding style, I would highly recommend the Orbea Rise H15. I currently ride the Rise and I’m definitely more of an Enduro rider. Although the Rise is only a 150/140 travel bike, I’ve had no problem handling everything I throw at it…rocks, roots, drops and jumps. In addition, this bike pops like no other!

I’ve ridden the Levo SL way back and that was a great laugh and probably very similar to the Rise. I do have the other consideration of sizing.. XL bikes are too small!

Lol, if e-bikes cost the same as analog mtb’s everyone would choose them. It’s all about the $$$

@@MTBSeb The new levo SL (2023 gen 2) is almost identical to the stump jumper with an updated motor. It looks really, really, good. I have a 19 levo and I'm starting to get over it, not emtbs, just this particular bike (still won't sell it though haha)

Love the Quantocks - love riding the quantocks on my emtb . Great content - must find that slaughter house coombe DH next time .

Slaughterhouse is the ridge line between Stert Combe and Shepherds Combe, if that helps you narrow it down at all!

  • @_Jake.From.Statefarm_

Should have found some hard steep stuff to climb too! It's funny cause on an emtb you look at stuff you can't do on a regular bike like the gnarly climbs on you would normally do on a regular bike. Hahaha. The wild weighs in at 42lbs?

I think probably the Quantocks, there so much variation which you can ride in one day!

Hello, thanks for the video, how tall are you and what size was the bike? I'm 1.77 what size do you recommend?

I’m just about 6’6”. At your height I’d look at a large frame 👍

I hate where biking is going like a lot of stuff. You love the fact that people will get out if they're not feeling 100% or to fly up the hills...oh boohoohoo. I've got a rare lung disease that's mashed a big chunk of my lungs + asthma on top & I still get out & do my best to get up those hills. Not to mention the environmental impact of more batteries & all the rest of the extra materials just so we go that bit faster - why's everyone in such a f'ing rush.
