I’m from Philadelphia (or Philly for short), The City Of Brotherly Love. Let me say what a man cave you have. I have been playing arcade classics on my Pandora’s Box arcade since 2021, and the latest Barcade (BARNCADE MINUS THE N) opened in the central part of Philadelphia (or should I say PHILLY) towards the end of 2023. This will make the people at Chuck E. Cheese’s, Dave & Buster’s, Round1, and Barcade jealous. I be glad if you have Skee Ball, billiards, foosball, air hockey, and table hockey. Now those said games (that you don’t have) should (in the words of Emeril Lagasse) KICK IT UP A NOTCH. I be glad that you have thrown parties at this man cave with all them games, karaoke, food, and drinks.
Soo many cool things here and absolutely love the high score idea.
Amazing entertainment barn. Very nicely done!
Incredible. Obviously took a lot of time and love to put this together. Literally thought of every detail to ensure a fun time for all.
Absolutely amazing, nice touch with the scoreboard system!
I would like to see a detailed video of that racing cabinet!
Perfect!
I'm not sure if people have a lot more money than me, are a lot smarter than me, or both... but man this place is beautiful, I can't imagine having a building and items this freaking nice... If I had a dream checklist he woulda hit about 95% plus some extras that I wouldn't have even thought of... My wife would constantly be asking my kids... "has anyone seen your dad, let me guess the barncade again..." Kids would just nod...
Outside of the building and the drywall we did all of the work ourselves so that helped control some of the cost. And that is definitely something my wife has said! 😂
facts thinking the same thing!
What am I not doing right!
You remember all the guys that used to have boats and go out on the lake. This is the video game generation this is his boat.
I started my own arcade in my basement.
Right now have Wii, 360, switch on one TV.
My computer.
Legends Ultimate cabinet with a Retro shooter Pandoras nox. This arcade set up has 93 light gun games, and 5000 other games.
Also have a air hockey table.
My basement space is only 20x20.
Very cool place to hang out solo or in large groups! Thanks for sharing! Neat integration with the Karaoke, jukebox and Golden tee machines!
Love the high score idea, marvelous 👌
Barncade should be the name
Dude this is a great Mancave! Very inspiring!
It really is! Thanks for tuning in.
Carevil
This looks like a great place for the family to relax. It's a good blueprint for a chain of cafe and gaming businesses with soft lighting and relaxing music.
All Mancaves Must Bow To The Barncade. You saw us and raised us!
The bar has been raised high!
That karaoke and jukebox setup was amazing!
very cool!
Awesome Dude! I'm stopping by when I come to the Lions Bills game this year! lol
So fun to hang out in! Love the karaoke 🎤 Such a cool set up!
Fair play to dude, really cool.
One of the best home arcades I've ever seen! 🍻lucky man
Thanks!
yeah this is what i strive for when I get my own place. renting sucks I have 2 full size japanese cabs now and the mini neo geo cab with the 17" screen from unico but I need more space! I'm interested in that driving setup you have there.
Nice, let me know if you have any questions.
Awesome spot!
Dragons Lair. Say no more.
so nice 😀 his party seem a lot of fun 🤩
His get togethers are the best!
It’s a great party spot.
Where's your pool table?? That's missing man cave is cool 😎
Awesome! Go BLUE Go LIONS From tuscola county!
I like all the TVs and how you set up everything. My favorite arcade machine is the racing simulator!
Anything in particular you want to know?
@@hudkinsbrianYes, how do you manage the different inputs on the TVs? A matrix switch?
Yes I am using an 8x8 HDMI matrix.
@@hudkinsbrian Okay, thank you!
That high score system is brilliant! Make yourself?? Or Program?
is that high score system all custom coded or available via an app/site or elsewhere? would love to get that setup in my cave
Also same with that digital jukebox!
Definitely Needs a Greenbay Packer flag on wall.
Awesome!!! Let me know if you ever need a roommate.
lol
this is an awesome setup. what did you use to do the trivia and have it on the tv's? is there a website you could point to?
How did you get that Pepsi fridge? It’s pretty old because of the logos.
Honestly not even sure, probably got it 20 years ago lol
UN freaking believeable! Super interested in the karaoke app and digital jukebox. Is there somewhere I can get more info on that?
Jukebox is an app called album player. The karaoke software is compuhost
I’m interested in these as well!
What u use for jukebox music video?
Awesome!!!! Couple of questions for you, with the arcade score tracking is that Iscored program? If so was it easy to add in the QR code? How do you connect it to the tv?
Yes it is iscored and the software if pretty easy to use and the QR code is automatic when you set up each game and as far connecting to the TV. It is straightforward. Just a fire stick and using the browser on it
How do you run the trivia software? I see the app for the iPhone but how are you running it on your tvs? Is there a specific app and subscription fee of some type?
BarnCade built 2018: czcams.com/video/kkdccyHJx3E/video.html
I wonder how much does it cost to repair these arcade machines now in 2024 Vs 10994 that only costed $25 these arcade machines break a lot the only arcade machines that never break are what came after year 2000 like my Ms Pac-Man galaga 20th anniversary which you don’t have it costed $2,900 on ebay back in the days when ebay didn’t have so many scalpers you can buy almost anything on ebay
Can you list all the software you're using in the description? I see you've answered with the iscored and albumplayer, but I'd also like to know about the trivia and karaoke etc. Thanks!
Compuhost is the name of karaoke software.
The lower monitor in the Play Choice 10 isn’t working.
it is working, you have to select a game first then it shows up on that monitor
Are you running all your software (karaoke, trivia, jukebox, scoreboard) from a single pc or are you running multiple pc’s? Also any more info on your racing setup? Did you build it or purchase it? Are you running a version of hyperspin or launchbox on it? Amazing setup all around!
Hi. Karaoke and the jukebox run off the same laptop with different software. Album player for the jukebox and compuhost for the karaoke. There is another satellite pc for karaoke signup. The racing cabinet is from Chicago gaming company. I don’t think they make it anymore. The system for it I build and customized with hyperspin. All of my systems run Hyperspin except for the pinball which is running pinballx. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@hudkinsbrian thanks for the reply. I love everything about your setup. What are the overall dimensions of the shed?
@@bradmartin520540x30
What is the system/website for the music videos?
I am using software called album player version 5.3
tips for setting up QR code score boards?
once you setup your game you can go to the games tab and select your game. From there the QR code is shown and I just took a screenshot and printed it. However it looks like the QR codes contain the logo in the code which is awesome and there is also a download QR code buttons for all of your games.
Do you live in your house or in your barn? I’m guessing if it has air conditioning you spend way more time in the barn.
50/50 :)
needs a real pinball machine
oh yes looks good but if he want to be thinking like xbox he is fucked if his net gone down becouse of any reason he become fucked
No pinball. Boo!
We have the digital pinball but no real one. Maybe one day!
@hudkinsbrian it's meant as a suggestion more than a troll. I have played pinball for over 40 years and it's pure magic. The digital is really....unmagical and only practical for a fan that lives in a city apt. With no space. Pinballs are physical not computerized and mostly skill with a bit of luck. I'd strongly suggest adding a few pinballs and a couple of pachinko machines. They will be the main stars of the entire place
Mancave?? This is more like a Trumpcave. You put my garage of arcades to shame.
Incredible. Obviously took a lot of time and love to put this together. Literally thought of every detail to ensure a fun time for all.
Thanks Erica!!
