My grandpa passed away in 2005. We watched every Cubs game on WGN. I know that somewhere out there my grandpa was watching this game and he was celebrating along with us. I'm pretty sure that you're all his grandpa was up there celebrating too.

The crazy part about all of this is that absolutely nobody is upset about this. everybody is so proud and happy for the Cubs, no salty Indian Fans. Matter of fact, Indian fans are the ones cheering us on the most! This game will truly go down as one of the best. It's amazing the Cubs made the city of Chicago more than proud.
It would have been a better story if Cubs never won and in the distant future where MLB sucks and fans hate it now so the MLB will play its final season, lets say year 4100 then the Cubs finally win before the entire sport of MLB disbands and goes extinct that way Cubs would have broken an almost 3000 dry spell and forever be known as the last MLB world champions before the records of everything MLB gets forgotten after 100 years of no baseball.
