Her grasp of the concept of relative time is mind-blowing and profound -- real evidence of high-level thinking. As this type of language work continues, I can imagine limitless doors opening into our understanding of just how much dogs and other animals can comprehend. And this raises penetrating questions about how we treat them.
Not only has she mastered the concept of time, but she knows there was BIG talking. She understands that the amount of talking this morning was a lot relative to the normal amount of talking. And she's thinking about that now. That's huge!
Animals can understand time. I feed feral cats and they will come right before the time that I usually feed them. If I change the time they’ll start showing up at the new time.
Where does she demonstrate a grasp of time?
Exactly! They are far more than what we as humans have labeled them. They think, feel, solve problems, create and dream just like we do! I can’t wait until we learn THEIR languages! Imagine how we will communicate then. We aren’t the top of the food chain. We’re just a different species on the same playing field. This open minded teaching experiment is just the first step in making our world what it is meant to be for all of us. 😊
@@GrumpyGrebo when she communicates the difference between morning and afternoon “talk big.” She knows that presently she is speaking to her mom in the afternoon, and that previously she had “talk big” in the morning. She also distinguishes night from day, and night from morning and afternoon. She understands the nuances of now, later, soon and tomorrow/today as well.
Bunny will soon be putting a pot of coffee up, breaking out the biscuits and talking bout your bestie's new boyfriend
Oh, I hope so!
@brew 😂🐾🐕🐾🤣
Lmao 🤣
😂😂
Bunny is on anti depressants
Omg still can't get over her new haircut, she looks so funny!
It looks like she's wearing a hat. 🤣😁
Yeah, poor baby. Her groomer really jacked her up.
Like a poodle on steroids :)
@@Khaleesi_Of_Kittens It's been said a bunch of times that this is what her mama asked for - long on top for a fun bun when it's long enough, and a shaved face so her facial expressions can be read easier.
I think she looks cute!
With the new haircut I can see her pretty brown eyes. She is so smart and sweet.
She was proud of herself I think. What a good girl.
"Talk afternoon!"
"What do you wanna talk?"
"Hair style..."
lol
hahaha
🤣💀
The way I spat out my bagel laughing!! 😂
Hahahahahaha I'm dying
I love when she says something new and looks at you with those soft brown eyes...
She’s so awesome!!! This is just the tip of the iceberg. She has a great lexicon of vocabulary she uses to communicate with but it’s nothing compared to what she can understand. Love watching your family grow! Can’t wait to see what’s next!!!
Bro are you going crazy?
We’ve all talked about Bunny’s grasp & even advanced thinking on concepts & our gratitude that you are sharing her with us & giving us a peek at just how intelligent poodle hybrids can be & it’s astounding. So thank you again for all of that. Right now; in a bit shallower moment….I am so taken with how expressive her eyes are; even more now that I can see them so much easier with this hair cut. Eyes really are the windows to the soul & it’s not just a cliché! We’ve seen someone who takes her time thinking on what she wants to convey & now can see it in her eyes also! The confidence & the satisfaction….wow!
How intelligent is an animal who reflects on how much conversation they engaged in earlier in the day? Either Bunny is the Isaac Newton of dogs or we have sure underestimated the minds of dogs. And then think about other species that most would guess are brighter than dogs? What is really going on in the 16 pound brain of a sperm whale?
There is some evidence that dolphins have tried to teach humans their language (and got frustrated with us), and their brains are slightly bigger than ours, with bigger frontal lobes (where we process logic). Whatever is going on in cetacean brains is probably grossly underestimated.
@@KatharineOsborne yes, if we accept that animals have intelligence not completely dissimilar to ours and dogs are about as bright as toddlers and crows in some ways smarter than 7 year olds and intuitively that a whale is brighter than a crow, my question is, why does whale intelligence have to be squeezed between crow and humans? or chimps and humans? i think that the given brain mass and the argument that they got big to support the brain mass, not the other way around plus the idea that they might need vast intelligence to navigate the millions of cubic kilometers of ocean, to keep mental maps and communicate perhaps in some 3-D language related to their sonar system they may have minds that are far beyond those of humans. Yes, we think we are smarter but my cat pretty much told me, more than once, that I was stupid. And I am sure I am smarter than she was.
@@animalntelligence3170 My dog is long gone, but in light of this recent animal communication boom, I'm sure she thought I was an idiot. I always thought I was good to her, but now I feel guilty. She deserved more!
All mammals, and many birds, are emotional, and many are intellectual level thinking machines, which means that they have to take others' perspectives into account when trying to solve problems. This means modeling changes over both space (me vs you) and time (someone in the past and future). This has been known for a very long time. But it's not taught to kids in mainstream schools very well, I guess, so most humans have no idea what's going on in other animals' brains since they don't talk like we do, and can't literally tell us. But now they can, so I'm glad others are learning this valuable understanding of neuroscience/biology.
This explains Vegans.
it's like meeting up for a coffee with an old friend :)
In 3 months it will be shaggy lol
That never goes away and pushes your buttons, quite literally, all the time.
Exhausting.
We all know what our dogs are saying without forcing them to learn rudimentary English. Waste of a dogs life
Bunny eyes are so expressive, you can tell she understands you and certain concepts, just is really amazing‼️
I tell people all the time that dogs are like human children. They're a lot smarter than many people realize.
And cats, octopi and dolphins too!! So smart, these creatures :')
@@tanie3543 I really want to know what octopuses are thinking about.
@@lainey7985 give one some buttons haha
It really depends on the breed and the individual of the dog.
Yes they are like more trustworthy and serious 3 or 4 year olds (if they get older and are well trained)
So cute, her expression.
She presses the buttons so fancy and lady like 😂 I love it!
Her new haircut cracks me up
I am liking. Bunny's new look. AT first I missed her muppet face but I now can see her expressions better without the fur obscuring her expressiveness of eyes and tilted gestures.
So in love with this floofy, gentle genius. ❤️
“WHERE ARE MY TESTICLES, SUMMER?”
😂
I just love Bunny's thinking face. She's such a sweetie!
The dog: "If I press random buttons maybe this human will give me attention"
Bingo. The number of individuals thinking this was a real exchange is nothing less than frightening.
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683all these people commenting have lost their minds...yes, the dog maybe knows that some buttons will cause the owner to act in a specific way- if theres a button lets say the button says im feeling bad and the owner goes to her to fondle the dog, sure the dog knows quite litterally "which buttons to push" . But that she understands the words and even can comprehend conversations and is self aware is total bollocks. Just look at some videos of this channel how she is haveing "conversations" through these buttons with the dog, and you will laugh your as off... how naive and stupd some people can be is fascinating
@@majokuntzen5631 Politicians know how naive they are!
Wow. Understanding of time, quantifying of the activity, reflecting upon it’s significance. I’m kinda blown away.
I hardly understand what you wrote😂
Omg what a beautiful smart pup!
She’s so clever ❤
I started doing this with my two year old lab because he talks like a Husky sometimes and he already had non verbals like bow means outside and lip smack means hungry. It’s crazy how fast he gets it. Started with cheese / hungry. Day two already knows what it means. I just say “Otis want”. Also, we went for a hike and he wanted lunch after so he pressed it on his own. Day three he learned outside vs hungry buttons. It’s really really amazing! Thanks for sharing this information! So excited to see how far he gets!
Wow! Abstract thought, time sense, and value judgment.
She look so ‘grown up’ with her new haircut. Big sister looks good on her. Amazing things you’re opening humanity up to here. I wish you continued success.
the new cut is a very serious look for a hoppy, happy girl
You are making it up as you go along 😂😂😂😂
That dog just pressin buttons my guy
I love her face so much 🥲😭 💕 I wish I could give her scritches and a human bear hug.
I love how she looks at you she so cute and curious
Very smart dog, and looks very sweet too. 😍
Everytime I watch a video, Bunny blows my mind!!!
That's a human haircut! 😎
For the human dog! Lol
She is so amazing
It amazes me how curious she is wish all animals could do this
Talk big 😆
She understands so much; it’s amazing!
when she looked directlyat at her human, I saw such intelligence and love for her human in her eyes. I love her haircut, and her over all style. Shes a winner.
When she asks to talk, will you try asking her questions? Instead of saying okay we can talk, you offer something for her to talk about. I think that might help her. Maybe she is interested in talking but doesn't know what to say
That's the remarkable thing: she came up with the topic of cyclical time on her own and decided to talk about it -- as far as I know, it was her idea.
Probably best not to push her *too* hard. She's still just learning language, like a baby. It's kind of like the half-babble of a 2 year old "we talked a lot this morning! yeah we talked a lotttt" except she doesn't vocalize as a baby so it comes off as more adult and intelligent.
The interesting part to me is what is *not* said. The dog has to be economical with EVERYTHING because the options are so limited. The implication in what Bunny was saying, to me, was that Bunny ENJOYS talking.
@@inkajoo Amazing how you ramble on about how TALKING TO HER is TOO HARD on her. Then end with she enjoys talking. Unbelievable. No one said to ask her to fix world hunger, to stop crime, or hell, even how to preform brain surgery. I simply stated, OFFER HER A TOPIC. But, if you didn't go off the rails, you wouldn't have had an opportunity to try and show the world just how brilliant out think you are. Just not briiant enough to realize that asking bunny about her toys, or about her friends, is OFFERING A TOPIC. COMMON SENSE tells everyone else, that it should be an appropriate topic. Everyone that is, except you. Maybe your not so brilliant after all.
Precious, Adorable pup-pup ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤LOVE the Adorable Afro ❤️💕💖😍♥️💗😊
She and Otter have the cutest faces!
She's telllng you "we talkes enough this morning for afternoon talk too!" LOL
I LOVE this channel. So intriguing! This poses so many questions. Its amazing!
I'm completely over the moon with this way of the dogs talking 👄 😊❤
She's incredibly beautiful and such a smart girl,❤I love it!
I love the long pauses between button presses , you can see the gears turning lol
Bunny is very beautiful and precious..She is a real person.. No dull moment with her.
Bunny knows her buttons
I ❤ when she said Dinah Dinah dingbert. It brings me joy...I love your precious dog
this is mind blowing like
you are literally part of history with this dog
the amount that she understands and is able to communicate properly
like she knows to emphasis, to add more words and the proper words like was
and in pretty much right order
wow. like every video blows me away more and more
what are we doing with this info? scientists
technically we could make a communicator that reads brainwaves, and associates the brainwaves with the button press, and so does automatically
so it reads the brain waves and then says the word
and we have tech that reads brain waves easy
Sadly, "scientists" who decided to look into it came to the conclusion that it's just an illusion. Their explanation was that she's just taking cues from her owner and that without the owners interaction they would just be hitting random buttons.
In other words; the "scientists" don't actually want to even consider it's possible and just come up with excuses why they shouldn't look into it any further.
They basically start with what's already "known" about dog psychology and just try to make this new information fit into it instead of ever considering they could have been wrong about anything. They still adamantly believe that dogs can't even have complex emotions involving judgement or subjectivity, such as guilt. They just chalk it up to interplay. According to them dogs only "appear" to feel guilty as a reaction to our being upset. Of course, that doesn't explain in any way why a dog will act guilty before their owner ever sees them and will act guilty before the owner discovered what they're acting guilty about.
They don't seem to want to learn what dogs are capable of (probably because it would contradict decades of "findings"), but instead just make excuses for why us laymen are wrong.
Her face is sooo adorable. ❤❤❤
You make meanings from every random button the dog press.
Too smart, too cute. Great going!
The fact that the dog is self-aware...
Such a smart baby
😮😮😮 the way she thought of what to push is insane. ❤
I love Bunny I can look at her all day , she needs a movie 😊
She is amazing as are you for teaching her.
They have deep hearts, feeling far more than people have realized.
This one's impressive. I love the eyes and their expression
I like her fluffy. Unshorn, looks like a child’s dream of a fuzzy cuddly baby.
I've seen a lot but NEVER a dog that can remember and comprehend the words to ...I'm speechless 🐕 awesome pack leader and training
I just ADORE her lil poof
Seeing the dog lift it’s paw and aim for the exact button it knows to press always blows my mind
I just can't with the cuteness !!!! .... Plus I'm amazed how she thinks about what she wants to put together.
This is very enjoyable to watch. Amazing dog with high awareness of time.
Sometimes Bunny looks at you like "why don't you get what I am saying?" You can almost see the frustration. Sometimes I think she means things you don't pick up on, but that is to be expected. She is so smart - this is not a series of coincidences and never was.
"Talk...afternoon" let's talk about the afternoon.
I'm sure there are plenty of things she would like to express that there isn't a button for, or even might not be a human word for. Dogs think differently than us (and necessarily so because they experience the world differently) and Bunny likely has many moments of "there's no word for that here."
The fact that she has progressed so far into being able to utilize the words taught to her is astounding.
Some day humans might eventually come to realize the truth of comprehending the nature of other species and begin to see that this entire planet is a giant community, and dogs might just end up being the key to that...
But it might be a loooooong way down the road because, as a species, we still haven't learned how to truly communicate in a meaningful way with each other. We should be able to communicate with other primates, dolphins, horses, even rats in a meaningful way by now and understand the difference in how we interact with the world and each other, but we still haven't managed to do that (as a whole species) with ourselves yet. We like to think we're so incredibly smart, but really we've skipped over a lot of the most important questions and experiences that we need to grow, and in some cases we used to know, but have "forgotten" them.
Why? You'd think that would be an incredibly complex question to answer. Actually, it's all just a side effect of modern society. From the time we're born we are forced to pursue money and power for survival. Any knowledge and wisdom that can't be leveraged into income or an advantage over others is merely a novelty, when it should be the most important kind of understanding.
/Rant
@@HyperactiveSloth79 I love what you said! I think that the animals all have a far more intelligent way of thinking and communicating. ..our big mouths got in our own way of acquiring their abilities. We probably could learn of We could just shut up and listen without judgement! Lol!
The innocent curiousity behind her eyes is always so sweet to see. Shes so cute ☺️❤️
I love "Tal Afternoon" like "put it on my schedule, Mom."
Sound like she was saying good morning and the best way she could I love you bunny
I have missed you. Bunny looks great and all those buttons! You all really broke barriers and introduced the world to the truth about interspecies communication.
Wow! Bunny’s haircut looks fabulous.
THIS IS THE CUTEST THINGGG
I love this beautiful dog!!!❤️
She is so beautiful 😍 She instead looks like a a drawing of a dog🥰🥰
I think it's so cool Bunny communicates so well with the aid of these buttons. And her communication is becoming more precise. It's fascinating. 👍❤️
Omg, she is just awesome, I'm on awe of how smart and loving she is, what a pure soul, love her, sending kisses, muuuaaahhh
It still boggles my mind she really understands what she says with the buttons !!!❤❤❤
SHES THE CUTEST DOG EVER
I've always found it so amazing how some animals look at us with pure love in their eyes. It's a gift, truly
Oh my gosh . .
The Color of her Eyes is so beautiful, that its mesmerizing me !
A big talk:3
I love the way Bunny looks so pensive❤❤❤
Bunny with her head tilt and long blink.. " oh thank goodness, she understood".
She's so smart! My dog is empty in the head (obviously i adore her) it's funny to watch and compare 😂😂❤❤
When bunny passes over you'll still be able to have some in depth conversations with a ouji board
I believe that all thats happening is something called the “clever hans phenomenon” in which the dogs actually just looking at visual cues to press the buttons in.
Bunny's very smart and knows what she wants to say. It's amazing to watch her use her buttons with such proficiency. I love Bunny so much! ❤
That's a beautiful dog.
I miss bunnies old look
I love your dog! I love all dogs actually. I just love the looks on her face when she is listening to you talk. So amazingly smart!
