the fact that mila talks for schatzi makes her dog to human translator
My mind is blown by the fact that Mila describes peeing as "water potty". What a smart dog. I'm also curious how she knows Schatzi's needs so well. The dogs must be communicating between themselves and it fascinates me how exactly that happens.
I also watch Billie (she's a cat and also uses buttons). And I've noticed that in comparison to Billie, Mila is very emphatic, she talks more about Schatzi and her needs than about herself. I wonder if it's because they're different species or just have different personalities. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that dogs are more group focused than cats.
Dogs are absolutely more group focused then cats. They are much more solitary. I watch a few other “talking” dogs and Mila seems more in tune with the other pet in the house.
the biggest difference is there is no other dog/cat in billie's environment
@@wesingtogether Only when they visit. I don’t recall the name right now, but there was a video just the other day, where there was another cat. It showed how Billy and the other cat had to get used to each other. First there were some slaps given and Billy even got away from her visitor, but in the end they were playing together and cuddled up together for a nap!
Do you watch Russell the cat (channel name catmanjohn)? There are 4 cats in that household, but only Russell took to the buttons, and he talks for the others. Like he'll request their favorite toys for them, brushings, stuff like that. He is a natural leader and supervisor, and the other cats seem happy letting him handle the talking. He also lets his humans know when household chores need done, like when messes need cleaned up, or the automatic litter box gets jammed, or when laundry needs moved from the washer to the dryer, or needs removed from the dryer. Russell runs a tight ship! (He originally came from a hoarder house, so they think that may explain some of his neat-freak OCD tendencies, although his littermate brother came from there too and he's normal.)
Hey, same here!❤❤❤
I sure hope Schatzi never tries to hide anything from mom and dad…..because she will be so busted by Mila.
I have a strong feeling Schatzi can use the buttons but chooses not to for that very reason 😂
😂😂😂
FR 😂
I just cant get over how much Milo takes care of Schatzi. Its absolutely heart warming.
Dogs can read body emotions so well. The one dog knew that the other one had to go pee. They really are amazing animals.
So cute how Mila looks out for Schatzi. ❤
She is so cute, the way she uses her sister. Like she's saying "yes, I know, food later. I'm not hungry anyways, but Schatzi is staaaaarving, just saying."
The question is: how is Mila communicating with Schatzi?
body language @@ursulastaempfli759
Mila looks after schatzi so well yet they don't bark to each other so obviously some sort of communication between them we r unaware of. It's all amazing. Shame schatzi not interested in learning the buttons. Heaven forbid something happens to Mila cos schatzi will be lost without her.
I love how she tells you Shatzi has to potty😂
Honestly, Mila uses the Schatzi Button more than her own button for herself 😶
😂❤
I'm assuming in the middle of the video you guys are on holiday? Pretty sure she's trying to tell you she's all done with that and wants to go home. That's also based off my own dog, who thinks holiday homes are super interesting and then on day 2 she's like, okay, that was it, let's just go back home now. I think they get homesick just like kids do.
I love that she interprets for the other dog. Your "what?!?" is very aggressive sounding though. Dogs have exceptional hearing. You could whisper the "what?" and she would still get it and I think we would too in terms of the video sound. I actually think it would balance the rest of the sound better if you didn't shout the "what?!?" part and make it easier to watch the videos. Thanks for sharing your button use. It's fascinating.
I agree. The :What: sounded a bit aggressive!
sounds like they are in trouble. Too aggressive.
I love how mila speaks up for schatzi
Amazing!
She’s amazing 😊
Were do they get that button matt from
i like mila and shatzi they r nice dogys
I want to believe, but I'm not convinced. My dog is always hungry and always wants to go for a walk.
Does Schatzi ever use the buttons? Or is he not interested in them?
Wow🎉🎉
Hi, can you tell me whitch buttons you bought? I didn't find yours on the internet... Tons of other, but I like the ones you have.
The only buttons I'm familiar with is Fluent Pet, and they look like the buttons in this video.
Do any of the other buttons have the same interlocking hexagon pads?
Anyway, try Fluent Pet if you haven't already.👍🏻
I recently ordered a starter set for my cat. They should be here within a week, and if all goes well, I'll have to rename my male cat "Chatty Cathy"!😆😆
what buttons do you use?
How come Schatzi doesn't use the buttons? Just curious.
because not all dogs do.
Why is your podcast only 1/2 inch in middle is screen. I can't read your comments and I can't read what Schatzi are saying
Water potty = pee... that's amazing
These families make new languages lol. A patois. Lol
Hey mila, can you tell mom dad i need to pee like right now!
Notice how Mila’s ears go down a bit when you say water potty…thats her way of saying yeah coz it means PEE, duh! Just be aware of her dog gesture when she does that. We can learn their body language too which is quite complex as speech. I must make a suggestion though…when Dad says Whatttttt? And emphasise the t she gets a little low key confused or annoyed even as she things you sound a little annoyed as did that……she may even take her time as its her way of getting back at you in a laidback way for saying it like that as she knows you are still focused on her, its her body language way of saying stop saying Whattttttt! like that….even if you are not annoyed at all because she knows what a normal what sounds like. i think she would be more focused time wise if you just were more aware that sometimes your “what” is just tooo commanding little angry sounding and not consistent sound wise. I say this as I’m autistic and it came off sometimes as a bit annoyed sounding. To me you were getting better response time with a softer consistent normal “What” with you, like her mom says.
I am not autistic, but I noticed the same thing. It sounds really harsh and angry.
(Even though I am quite convinced that dad is NOT angry)
I struggle with gruff voices too. I feel very vulnerable around them.
wth i thought you would have atleast a couple hundred thousand but you have only 10k
She's next level smart.
Wish the man was gentler in tone. He sounds a little angry or demanding to my ears.
I thought the same. It’s a little off-putting
You should go to Britains got talent, or any of the got talents if u train mila to respond faster! ♡♡♡ just an idea. But you should actually! :)
Mila uses her buttons to communicate (: it’s not a trick, performance, or “act” but thanks for the compliment!
I'm still not convinced. For instance, aren't dogs colorblind? All the buttons I see on Amazon are differentiated by brilliant colors. I'm sure I could get results with "Momma" "Daddy" "Eat" and "Outside". But some of these mats have 30 buttons. "I say, whilst you're approaching the kitchen, could you render to me a bit of ham? I'm rather peckish."
They just memorize the placement
I've watched billispeaks for awhile, and I'm very new to this channel.
Dad doesn't seem to enjoy this way of interacting with the dog...but it's also possible that this is simply his usual style of communicating. Or maybe being on camera is something he's just not comfortable with?
Anyway, he comes across as rather impatient and on edge.
how come mila is the one indicating schatzi needs to go potty every time, how come schatzi isnt saying that schatzi needs to go ?
Schatzi has never taken to the buttons. She's never been very communicative and never shown an interest in the buttons. so Mila speaks for her
@@talkingdogmila Does schatzi "bark" or anything to tell Mila? och do Mila just "know/feel" it ? Love the vids.
The fine hair on people's faces stand up on end the moment before they realise they need the toilet. Dogs must also have a tell, body language signal for needing the toilet too.
You guys are joking in these comments right.
This guy is so annoying
