Just curious, how many miles will the average KLR run before it miles out?

Hows it run now? I bought a stock 2011 with 15k miles and it runs fine but a lot of popping on decel. I ordered a yoshi slip-on and I figured I'll have to back that mixture screw out a few turns past stock, so that'll be fun. Do you think I'll need to shim the needle as well? If so, 2 washers? I guess I have to look into this AIS block as well to completely get rid of the pops...anyway, thanks for the video!

I have put considerable miles on three different Gen 2, I would not ride it without this mod. I have adjusted my pilot jet before and it's never really made a difference, I even upsized to a 42 pilot jet and still not much of a difference. All the difference in power has come from adjusting the needle. At very minimum pull the air box snorkel and put two shims under the needle

My bike is running lean. How many washer you recommend for aftermarket exhaust with the L mod and without the snorkel?

@aacarta5205 I have always run five no problem, I have tried one two three and four and 5 is the best, I've always wanted to try six lol
