The way he can demonstrate "Real leadership", is to cancel that asinine California mandate that his state adopted. Forcing Marylandners to buy EVs, is not beneficial to folks living in Baltimore, Cumberland, Frostburg, etc. They are, overall, more of a hassle than they're worth. A good leader would listen to the people who installed them, not make life altering decisions/create inconveniences for them. Time will tell on the direction of Maryland.

Glad somebody in a leadership position finally acknowledged this. If a state is gonna legalize pot, they need to pardon all marijuana related arrests. It's simply the right thing to do.

I would say all non violent marijuana related arrests ... although one could vacate the weed issue and still incarcerate for violence ... But if all it took was a seed, a portion of an ounce... yep. Erase those convictions.

I don't smoke it, but there is no doubt that marijuana is less harmful than alcohol which has been legal for a century. The countless billions of dollars spent on running anti-MJ law enforcement would be better utilized on other things.

53 years ago, I had a minor drug charge( 2gm hash) $150 fine, but my drug conviction won't allow me into the US without obtaining an I192 VISA, even though pardoned by the Canadian Government 40 years ago.
