I had a white version of that plant, a gift from the neighbour for having looked after their garden whilst they went to Greece. I followed the instructions but the petals fell off, and it stopped being alive 😵

I also had a white orchid a long time ago.. coincidentally, also stopped being alive not long after I got it! Your neighbor is very lucky, I took care of my mother's plants when she went on vacation and I managed to kill about five in a week!
But I had very good pitch when we sang happy birthday, I'm pretty sure that makes up for it 🤣
Pretty nice getting "not cancer" results, if you ask me!
