That place on the left called Buffet hut, used to be the Tavern in the Town. :1401:
It was the target of the IRA in 1974.
There are still seating and remnants of the pub today. It was one of the most popular haunts of club goers in the 70's. I remember it well. A very shameful night and subsequent aftermath. RIP for the victims, we should not forget.

Recently visited Birmingham with family and grandchildren, we spent a significant sum of money in both the shops and restaurants! Several weeks later got a PCN for not paying a fine that we did not know we have crewed due to their clean air zone! The sign was lost in the back ground of filth, litter spread along the streets and road works warnings. I have paid the fine but will never be back to the slum that Birmingham has become! If inner cities are to go down this route of treating visitors like scum then amazon is the only way to purchase for me the Bull Ring is dead!

Sorry to hear that! Usually you can appeal the fine and they let you off if it's your first time, especially if the sign was not visible!

@@TravelAlongChannel appealed but the fine was up held. But in hindsight the passage through Spark Brook and Hill was appalling with litter and waste everywhere and the Bull Ring market area no better
