It's been a modern City for years always rebuilding it's self first thing was the Bullring Shopping Centre in 1963 opened by Prince Phillip, when Birmingham was making plans for it planners went to the USA to look at shopping Malls over there and consequently designed and built the 1960's Bullring Shopping Center on the lines of a US Shopping Mall the only UK Shopping Mall in a City Center under one roof which included an under cover Bus station
