I mean not everything's about the price of the gift. As long as they actually think you will like the gift, it's the intent and effort that matters. Kate isn't very materialistic, which is honestly a great quality for a girl to have. My wife doesn't have the best taste in gifts to be honest but I don't mind because she genuinely does want them to make me happy. She is also just the most important person to me so I value her gifts more than anyone else's even if theirs is technically considered a 'better' gift.

@@Mariasilvinaaa I was specifically referring to women in that instance because I am a guy and I was speaking from my perspective. I don't date people in general, only women. So for guys it's great when our girlfriend isn't materialistic or superficial especially since we often are expected to pay for the majority of dates and gifts. From personal experience, there are quite a few women who are never satisfied with anything you get them unless it is expensive. Your attempt to 'correct' me was pointless because my comment was about traits a good girlfriend has, not people in general.

I like the fact that even though it's an expensive present, it's not the materialistic part that makes her cry. It's the gesture of him noticing that it's something she secretly wanted and that's what Christmas is about. It's not the actual gift that matters but the thought behind it that really counts and what that gift represents.

Basically Kate pranked slaiman saying that she got a test saying that her hormones are wayyyy off and she can't have kids so they should re-evaluate things before the marriage.
And Slaiman said it's okay, even if it sucks that he wouldn't be with someone else just because of that.
