@@Yunnansourcing It's so hard to pick! Demon Ox or Year of the Ox are probably tied for my favorites. Demon Ox is definitely my go-to when my stomach is feeling off (which is all the time!)

My first tea of 2023! Smooth smooth smooth
I'm mainly drinking aged sheng but with all that fresh snow outside right now nothing beats a good shu (or Assam) for me and from all the stuff flying around here (including some good shus from the 90s that I picked up Yunnan) your 2015 Green Miracle and 2017 Rooster King are some of my favorites ... great job, Scott! Unfortunately I only have a couple cakes left of those two so I guess I'll let them age a bit more and only brew some grams up on special occasions.

It's amazing how babies can love you so much. I have a 5 month old boy. This kid loves me. I joke around with my wife all the time about it. Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good to hear from others having the same joy of parenthood.

I've just got my hands on this cake. After watching the video I did not bother ordering a sample only, I went for the full cake. It was the best decision. Thick, cocoa, molasses. It has that slight bitterness that I'm looking for in ripes. All while retaining smooth and silky texture. And the brewing just keeps on giving. BTW, I get a slight metallic (or is it mushroom-y? sometimes these two taste are mixed so that I can't distinguish) taste, that I only ever tasted in Tian Jian and Liu Baos. Overall it's the perfect afternoon tea for these new rainy winters.
I am so glad to hear that I didn't let you down on this one! Not sure about the metallic taste. Not something I get out of it. Do you think the price is fair?

I have a question,regarding silver teapots.
Inspired by your teapot,I purchased a few silver pots,and 4 out of 5 were awful,nice on the outside,but awful on the inside,all gritty,minerally,god forbid,even lead patches here and there!
But one,it seems,is quite nice,clean on the inside,no grungy nonsense,a swan form,tucking head underneath wing.
I trust it,but traditionally go with Yixing.
My question is,where did you get your silver ones?
I would be honored to own one.
