Marine OCS Packing List

Don’t you get issued a second pair of boots? I have already bought some bates lights but if I get a second pair issued could those inspection boots?

I'm shipping to jrs In a month and I have heard mixed answers, but are you allowed to bring one pair of boots or two?

Andrew W you are allowed to bring up to 3. You will really only ever use two pairs, with the third if you choose to bring would be used for inspection.

Do you recommend labeling socks? Is there a specific way to label your socks that fall in line with regs?

Good rule of thumb for life in general, mark everything. There is no regulation for labeling your socks, they don’t care enough for that. But if you don’t want to lose any of your stuff, then label it

are you allowed to bring THREE pairs of running shoes? 1 for PFT only, and 2 for trail running.

You definitely could, but you need to consider the limited amount of space you will have between the foot and wall locker. 3 pairs of running shoes is a little excessive. I believe two is honestly perfect.

@@seandonovan5220 Thanks! Super light racing shoes really help me with PFT road run, but they won't survive the trail, and consider the possibility of getting wet, that's why I am asking. Have you ever seen/heard of anyone bringing three pairs though?
