I devoted a career to ophthalmology, never met an MD who told their patients this. They had Pharma manufactured vitamins they would pimp, but i NEVER heard a doctor counsel a patient to EAT their vitamins as whole foods. THANKS, Doc!

Amen, when a doctor suggests prescription drugs to me for anything the first thing I ask is *can I try a better diet and exercise*, a GOOD doctor would say *definitely but if after a certain amount of time I see no change for the better then you'll have to take this medication* I would have more respect towards him or her. That's why I like Dr. Berg, GOD bless him.😊

what about Vitamin A from Cod Liver Oil? i'm pretty sure i got this suggestion from you a while back, Dr.Berg. my mom has beginning MD, so that's what i've been forcing on her (ever tried getting a Septuagenarian to take supplements???), 10,000 IU per day, ecoMarine Norwegian Cod Liver Oil. while she eats well the vast majority of the time, no way can i get her to eat enough of these foods you've mentioned - must supplement... because, when people start aging, they stop doing what's best for them - must have caring daughter. seriously, please don't forget the supplements - old folks are not going to eat that much (so don't forget the old folks: ) thank you, and may our Great God and Savior Jesus bless you and keep you❤

Thanks Dr. Berg! Awesome information! I would add something to it and may be you can find much info about it and let us know in your way what to do. There is a important no-essential nutrient called Beta Carotene. When you consume it your body transform it in Vitamine A (Retinol) very important for the Vision! The richest sources of beta-carotene are yellow, orange, and green leafy fruits and vegetables (such as carrots, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cantaloupe, and winter squash). In general, the more intense the color of the fruit or vegetable, the more beta-carotene it has. Thanks

Energy from the sun going in plants which then are good for the eyes,.... You wonder if there is some kind of relation there? Going a little metaphysical there? 🙄
All energy we use on earth comes from the sun. So also the energy in kale and where ever it goes, it always comes from the sun. Seeing special relationships like the eyes work with light and energy coming from the sun,.... Is just what you want to make special.
But you knew that already. 😎
