That’s a cool build. My only suggestion is the steering pole needs a solid mount to the trolling motor steering adapter for less moving to turn it. Other than that it’s awesome.
Nice mods. Can you provide a link for the aluminum angle you used for your metal toe mount? I purchased the same kayak and doing similar mods. I really like the neatness of your mount in comparison to l brackets.
What exactly is your question? The round dry hatch is marine glued down & screwed to the kayak. I’ve decided on a 5 inch hatch, and then traced & cut the hole. Hopefully I’m answering your question.
