    Thank you for making this video. I'll be building a modified version of your mount for my kayak. The issue I have is that my kayak does not have a perfectly horizontal surface at the ideal location for the mighty mounts. The surface is slightly tilted in just a few degrees. I'll have to use two L brackets on each side to mount the cross bar to.

    Nice setup! I’m using this for my lifetime. I had something similar but yours is better and lil more simple than mine! I subbed! 💪🏾💪🏾

    Awesome , that’s a pretty clean setup.
    It’s hard to find a mount that will bolt on to the PRO. Waiting on the next video of how you set it all up.

    Good day, I reached all three of my nearest Home Depot and Lowe Centers, and I was unable to secure a square tube@ 1/8 thickness. Did you order online? I really like this trolling motor mount, and I wonder if the cross bar @ 1/16 thickness will be strong enough for my kayak.

      @bassmanbobbin  Před měsícem

      Yeah the 1/16 should work. My buddy used that thickness and it works great. You may or may not need to add a support depending on stability but it should work just fine

    did you make the width between the L metal struts the right width to hold a battery?

    • @bassmanbobbin
      @bassmanbobbin  Před 8 měsíci

      You could put the battery there if you wanted but I am posting a video this weekend on the wiring and battery setup and steering system

    The mighty mount that you have on your kayak…. what is it held down with? Nuts and bolts? Or something else? And has it ever come loose since you installed the mount?

    • @bassmanbobbin
      @bassmanbobbin  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I used rivets. It’s solid. No loosening has occurred

  • @davelyons2601
    @davelyons2601 Před 3 měsíci

    I assume you did not need to secure the back of your mount to your kayak? Thanks

    • @bassmanbobbin
      @bassmanbobbin  Před 2 měsíci

      No, no need to. The weight of the motor keeps it solid and as long as the rest of the mount was solid there was no need. That thing is solid and doesn’t move out on the water 👍

    How do you tilt the motor. If you get in shallow water
