I don’t really understand more about financial proof because I think blocked account is the only thing that they are going to need
Thank you for your prompt reply. I think you also need to do a video on the Schufa issue. Right now i am trying to look for accommodation as a student and i keep on getting requests for Schfa and yet i still do not have have. How did you handle the situation. I know one has to open a bank account to get one, meaning one has to get a visa and get to Germany. It is really a question of chicken and egg.

When filling out my visa application form, do I need to use my father's address in Germany as my 'sponsor's address', or can I use any address in Ghana?
Since my father in Germany will be depositing part of the funds into my blocked account and a relative in Ghana is also supporting me, should my father or relative in Ghana write the sponsorship letter to backup my visa application??

Hello bro, does the German authorithies not accept a scholarship won in or guaranteed from your home country as a proof for financial resources?
To my best of knowledge they do. But if the Scholarship isn’t to the amount stated then they will require you to open a block account to top it up

How long does it usually take for the embassy to get back to you?
On their website they said minimum of 8 weeks. But I know people who got theirs earlier than that . Usually it’s should be between 2 to 3 months

Because it’s stated on the requirement list.

Also, my sponsor is a German but when she went for the formal obligation, they remarked negative so we created a blocked account instead, will this be a problem?

If so then I don’t think it’s the option because it will only make going through the documents very difficult.

Mostly countries who have English as their mother tongue don’t need to prove any extra English proficiency.
Just English proficiency letter from your school is enough

Dear please do they accept laminated original?documents
So the Little thing I know about lamination is that most original documents loses it’s authenticity when it’s been laminated. Information that I did know myself. My BECE certificate was laminated but during the Interview no question popped up as in why I chose to laminate it.
So based on that I can say that it won’t be a problem if you submit laminated certificates.
But if you haven’t laminated your documents already and advice you don’t. Especially higher level school certificates like University Certificates
