nice video, keep up the great work bro.
thanks for the comparison!
My strained eyes are going to thank you for your recommendation. I need to get these.
I am getting this bar! Way too slick to miss out on it.
I need this expeditiously

The Xiaomi one seems like the better purchase, but I find this review a little bit biased and not a fair reflection of the performance of both products.
I wanted to try out the Xiaomi light bar first, but almost all of the main sellers on Amazon had poor reviews and higher than RRP prices.
So, I bit the bullet and went for the BenQ Halo instead.
I don't regret my purchase so far, and I find the back light a lot more useful than I initially anticipated.
Yes, you could absolutely buy the Xiaomi light bar for the desk, and then get a cheap LED lamp to put behind the monitor as biased/ambient lighting.
However, I don't have heaps of space behind my monitor and nor do I have a spare socket.
The BenQ Halo handles everything in one solution, which saves space and prevents extra clutter.
Great video with fantastic facts. I have question, My children work in an office next to each other on seperate computers. If they each have a Mi light bar wireless remote control, when pressing setting does it impact the other light bar and if yes how can you stop this?
This is actually a very valid question
Hey! I might be too late but do you know if the xiaomi light bar will be able to fit on any monitor? I have an Lg gaming monitor which is super thicc in the back and so I don't know if this is a good option
yea my monitor is thicc boi too. I will say, its not super stable, but I don't fuss around with the webcam much after its mounted (benq is not anymore stable)
@jzguy19 Actually, the original BenQ screenbars have a superior clamp design, and that alone makes them a better fit for most monitors.
Also, BenQ recently released the Screenbar Pro, which has an even better clamp design and is generally a better product than the Xiaomi light bar.
Would you recommend BenQ for someone who easily gets eyestrain? Only way I can use my monitor is with my room fully lit or my eyes get hella irritated 😭
I bought a Quntis lightbar and thought the Benq was way too expensive. But I was so wrong! You get what you pay for!
The Quntis doesn't really glare on the screen, but it illuminates every tiny speck of dust and still shines in my eyes.
The dust was driving me mad. I cleaned it every day.
I just got the Benq and the difference is night and day!
The light is so focused that it doesn't light up the dust and doesn’t shine in my eyes.
The backlight is a nice addition.
Can you Connect the remote control with a second Monitor Lightbar? I have two screens.🤔
from what ive heard yes
I got the Xiaomi light bar a little over a year ago and I'm perfectly satisfied with it. I wouldn't spend $10 more to upgrade to the BenQ, let alone $100.
My little Mazda is cheaper than audi and also has wheels. I personally dont need all the features than Audi provides, especially when it costs quadruple.
I'm perfectly fine, both have 4 wheels and can get passengers, so as you already probably realized, I recommend Mazda. Is shorter and louder, but this aesthetics suits me, I dont know about you. Mazda is definitely better product. Now Im waiting for 100 comments from people who are grateful that I helped them choose better product and avoid overpriced junk
The people who tend to use cars, an example, when discussing completely different products, are some of the biggest lunatics I've ever seen on this platform.
Yes, I understand that you're too cheap to buy the more expensive product, but don't insult people who can afford it and choose to buy it.
If it's not within your budget, then have the balls to say it, instead of inventing reasons for why the more expensive product is definitely bad.
Using your car example, I can't afford a Rolls Royce Phantom, but you wouldn't hear me criticising people who can afford it and calling the car itself "overpriced junk".

Thank you, you have made my decision. I'm going to buy Xiaomi! Which monitor mount are you using? I have a curve monitor too.
Vivo heavy duty monitor arm!
Does your back light have a black bar running down the middle ?
not that i noticed!
It's normal.
I asked the same question on Amazon, and most ppl noticed the same, and a BenQ customer service rep said that it's part of the design.
You wouldn't normally see it on a photo/video, as the exposure setting is too high.
I AM SO SICK OF TEMU ADDS!!!!
errr not sure they are suppose to be for curved monitors?
I've seen someone who uses it with their 1000R curved Samsung monitor, and they seem pretty happy with the Xiaomi one.
@@StardustLegacyFighter are you sure they didn't have the Xiaomi lymax? idk seem to make more sense for cuurved monitors
@@UnikumMitsubishi They didn't mention "lymax", just Xiaomi Mija light bar.
@@StardustLegacyFighter ah ok well I would suggest the Xiaomi Lymax for as curved monitor!
Sht I wiped my screen coz I thought mine was dirty
Chinese Xiamo mi? Nah
Benq Halo is far superior, better build, better brightness(back and front), and the Halo doesn't glare off the screen like the rest and wireless control, be patient and save up and spend your money once, don't buy junk over and over trying to match what you really want, junk is just a waste of money that you can't get back.
Nice try BenQ marketing team
@@cahto1862 I don’t work for them but would be nice if I did, I’m sure it pays better than what I do now
@@cahto1862 He's not wrong. Even if it's the marketing team.
I have the Quantis and the Benq. Thought that the Benq is too expensive but you get what you pay for. A huge difference in light quality!
All those things that you said are not even worth it bro 💀 stfu it's not junk. Benq is just slightly better.
No se ingles, cual dijo que es a mejor? jajajaja es enserio

Keep the room lights on while working if possible. These monitor light bars aren't bright enough or big enough to be a proper and healthy light source for your eyes. Stop wasting your money on an unnecessarily expensive tech which doesn't do any good anyway.
This, it's mindboggling how people don't just turn THEIR ROOM LIGHTS ON instead.
Benq is a room light. This is completely different category. Apples to kiwi comparison driven by price.
@@sooool4716light bars give a more direct source of light and don't cast unnecessary shadows when working at your desk. Some room lights don't give the right angle or brightneess that you need. Even with my room light, I still needed a desk lamp to do my work because no matter how I position my desk, there will be annoying shadows and not enough light.
@@jonathanhirschbaum6754It's not a "room light" you clown, it's literally marketed as a monitor light for a desk.
@@sooool4716It doesn't help if you need focused lighting.
