I’m still waiting for the version with a gap in the stand for the monitor webcam, that fits the Apple Studio Display. That’s the only thing stopping me from getting one now.
Sorry for the late reply. Thank you very much for your interest in BenQ products. ScreenBar Pro can be used with the Apple Studio Display without blocking the webcam. If you have any questions about the product, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are happy to assist you. Thank you!
@@benq_smartlighting .... How?
@@ai176 I think they reduced the gap. I'll receive mine in few days, so I'll keep you updated since I have a Studio Display too !
I have the same monitor and i am using the previous gen of this light. Mine fits good, you just need to put the light slightly toward the side.
I used a Dremel to cut a hole in version 2 of the light, where the webcam is, took 10 minutes and looks very clean. I think I still cover the mic / one of the mics, but I don't use those.
I watched the ad and still didn’t get what it is for
"all in one" so where is the camera here? or should I use gaffa tape 😂
Thank you for your feedback! We aim to convey that many features are combined in the ScreenBar Pro, and in the future, we will strive to come up with better sentences in our communication.
😂😂
is this product (or any other benq screenbar) compatible with apple homekit or other smarthome systems?
i want the screenbar i buy to automatically change color temperature depending on the current apple focus mode (ie cold light while working and warm light while journaling)
How does this work with super ultra wide like the Samsung 49” ? I can’t imagine that a straight light would evenly illuminate a curved monitor
Quality comes at price and this is fantastic and will last long, when will it launch in India ❤❤
Thank you very much for your feedback; it means a lot to us! However, we currently do not have sales plans for India. If you need a monitor light, please consider the ScreenBar, ScreenBar Plus, or ScreenBar Halo. If you have any questions about the products, please feel free to ask. Have a great day❤
yeah, beautiful but.. where do we put our webcam?
Shining a light onto your monitor! This has to be the greatest idea ever.
it doesn't, it angles away
Thank you very much for your appreciation. If you have any questions about the ScreenBar Pro, please do not hesitate to let us know :)
I really hope this will still be in stock and discounted on prime day because thats what Im waiting for
Wait what is this? What's the product?
ScreenBar Pro is a monitor light. Its biggest difference from desk lamps lies in saving desktop space and solving the problem of glare caused by desk lamps' single-point light source shining onto the screen.
Through numerous home visits and office surveys, we've found that even with any ceiling light source, the light reaching the desktop is often only around 300lx. According to the American ANSI lighting standards, a minimum brightness of 500lx is required on the desktop during office work. Regardless of the specific model, our lamps can provide light of 500lx and above.
Additionally, it is challenging for the average user to accurately determine whether the light has reached 500lx. Therefore, we have incorporated automatic dimming sensors. Simply activate this feature, and it effortlessly supplements the illumination to meet the 500lx requirement.
Apart from illuminating the office space in front of the screen, while screens emit their own light, the surrounding environment may have a contrast glare with the screen, known as contrast glare. Under such conditions, the eyes constantly adjust their pupils, leading to fatigue and even discomfort. Therefore, hanging a lamp on the screen is not meant to illuminate the screen itself but to supplement the light in front of the screen and address the contrast glare around the screen. This aspect is more thoroughly addressed in the LaptopBar and ScreenBar Halo models.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions regarding lighting, we are more than happy to listen to your opinions. We also look forward to the day when our lamps can serve you.
Wish you have a good day.
Cannot fix it on LG monitor (due to the " thick round" behind :-/)
whats the point of this becaue the monitor creates light?
Am I missing something or this is an overall downgrade from the Halo other than the brightness? I tried both from Amazon and the pro has an inferior mounting mechanic, a weird lighting angle that makes the light pointing directly at my eyes whenever I prop my head with my hand, and also creating a bright reflection of my body on the screen when I sit normally
How does it work if you need a webcam on the monitor?
just 3d print a clip to it depending on your webcam, ez fix, there is plenty people everywhere with 3d printers :)
Thank you for your interest in our products. Some customers attach their webcams directly to the light bar, but if you prefer to center the webcam on the light bar, you can purchase our webcam accessory from the official website. If you have any questions about the products, please do not hesitate to let us know. Wish you havea good day🤩

My monitor has a camera already.
ScreenBar Pro is a monitor light that saves desktop space and eliminates glare caused by desk lamps' single-point light source.
Through extensive home visits and office surveys, we've found that even with ceiling light sources, desktop illumination often falls short of the 500lx minimum required by ANSI lighting standards for office work. Our lamps consistently provide 500lx or more.
To ensure optimal lighting, we've integrated automatic dimming sensors that effortlessly adjust brightness to meet the 500lx requirement.
In addition to illuminating the office space, our lamps mitigate contrast glare between screens and surrounding environments, reducing eye strain and discomfort.
We welcome your suggestions and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve you. Have a great day!

Thank you for your interest in BenQ products. However, the monitor light category was first invented by BenQ in 2017 with the initial model being the ScreenBar. It was only later that other brands began to enter this category. You can refer to the patent number 10544927, which we obtained in the US for this product in 2017.
Since 2017, we have continuously optimized our products, leading to the release of the ScreenBar Plus, ScreenBar Halo, and the ScreenBar Pro that you see now. Previously, the limitation of monitor light was that the lighting range or brightness might not be equivalent to desk lamps. Therefore, this time we have focused on improving the brightness of monitor light and making the clamp's adaptability the best it can be. It fits monitors 0.43-6.5 cm thick and with a curvature of 1000-1800R. The patented clamp design accommodates monitors with special back designs or non-flat top bezels. It offers easy setup and does not block the camera lens.
We have also implemented the automatic on/off function in the ScreenBar Pro, something that others have not yet achieved! If you have any questions or suggestions about the product, please do not hesitate to let us know. Wish you have a good day:)
this is just silly. just turn on the room's light

@@benq_smartlightingThanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. I think it’s in your best interests to at least lower the price for this thing, or make a cheaper version. The average person seeing $140, and then scrolling down to see one for $20 is most certainly choosing that $20 option. Now of course, you have the much nicer product, with the better features, it’s more user friendly etc. But the average persons only noticing that yours is 7x what the baseline is. I’d like you to take a look at something like the Xiaomi Mi Monitor light bar. Seriously, open another window while you’re reading this and take a look. It’s a $75 light bar, the one I just purchased in fact, and it’s incredible. Ease of use is top notch by using that little dial instead of having to reach up to control the thing. High quality materials/packaging/clean design. And all for half the price of yours. I know you’re a relatively high end smart home esc brand, and I know your products will always be expensive, and there will always be cheaper alternatives to them. But just, make a “ScreenBar Lite” and make it around $70-$80. And then add some more compelling features to the next “Pro” light bar, so people are really incentivized to make the jump. From my perspective, there’s not a whole lot you can do with a monitor light bar to make it worth anywhere close to that much. But I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong :) Thanks for understanding
