@@PDU_Tutorials I shot a sequence for edit whilst at the Richmond Vale Railway Museum today(1/9/2019). I've now got to put it together to see how it works out!
Sad to report the sequences didn't work. Not because of the execution of the method, rather, bad lighting(even though I was using an LED torch to light up the scene, it wasn't bright enough). The second thing that crueled it was trying to do dialogue with myself(I was trying to inject some comedy into the piece I was shooting for my "Trams & Trains" channel). Gosh-darn it!
@@neilforbes416 Yeah, it's really hard when you place dialogue with it. I did one with dialogue a while back. I had to place long pauses between the dialogue and edit it so that everything went together well.
@@PDU_Tutorials Probably best to leave out spoken dialogue and use speech balloons, like in comic books. it's very hard to gauge how long the silent gaps have to be from each side as one of you speaks then the other you responds.
Great job as always Maliek, your videos are fantastic and so helpful! When you did your "Cloning" video on Pinnacle 19, there was a "Feather" option to blend the line between the two video images and make the transition between videos more "blended" so it wasn't so obvious, is there a similar option in CyberLink PowerDirector, so you don't see the "line" between the two videos?
If you get PD 365 it comes with AI plugins and NewBlueFX Paint Effects both which can be used to put lots of different drawing /art effects on your videos. The link to PD 365 is in the video description.
Malik, I love this tutorial and made a couple of short videos plus several practice videos and every video you can see a line down the middle where it looks like one side is darker than the other! I’ve even used lighting but still get the different shades! Help! Please! What am I going wrong and how can I correct it! Many thanks!

One side keeps getting darker than the other whats causing that do you known, even when I try to brighten the other side it keeps going off with the brightness
No I do not. As long as you recorded the footage with the exact same lighting and recorded back to back so the outside lighting didn't change the brightness should match.
IMHO the best codec to keep file sizes small is Windows Media (.wmv). Microsoft has done an excellent job of combining small file size and very good quality.

I’ve been editing n when I try create disc its does not fit in my 4.7dvd disc , and thus when I use smart fit option, I didn’t get the quality I expect. Can you please help me out other than wmv format. Also wmv format be watchable in DVD disc player ?
@@haheeseries8121 All DVD's are MPEG2 you can't change the format for the disc. Your best option is to select fit to disc and see if that works. If not, you might need to re-edit so the file is smaller, remove any menu buttons, etc.

I did this effect with PD16 last year, but do not remember which masking effect I did... I know I figured it out by myself - but it was a long time ago. Biggest tip (besides tripod) is to make sure there are no lighting changes. I had to lock focus to keep my camera from trying to refocus, and change lighting.
In the video I state you can't move the recording device/tripod between shots. If you move the recording device things won't line up in post. The subject can move all he/she wants as long as he/she doesn't cross the line between the two subjects.

@@tate321 No other step. If the lighting changed during recording you can try adjusting the brightness and/or exposure until they match.

No brush mask but it can be done depending on where your subject is and which mask preset you use.
