Slash is the best guitarist in the world, it is not the best guitarist because it's faster, that giving a thousand notes per second, is the best because of his feeling on the guitar, he actually manages to sensitize people

Man you are correct....but David Gilmour have only emotion....but slash have a shred guitar playing ability with emotion...this is difference between Gilmour and Slash.....A am fan of both guitarist....but my personal favourite is Slash

Slash ist für mich der beste Gitarrist ever, was er aus dem Instrument rausholt ist unglaublich. Ich erkenne ihn sofort, wenn er spielt. Danach kommt erst Gilmore. Das ist meine Meinung und ich bin 67 Jahre alt und seit über 30 Jahren Fan von Guns n Roses mit Axl und Slash.

Hell no... Slash's patience solo's back in 91, 92 and 93 were some of his best solos. And Axl singing after the solo is so powerful.

Slash couldnt mess up a song if he tried hes so damn good. Patience is one of my favorites from the classic GnR era, and although SLash is a bad ass and even still rocks this song with electric guitar, its still best done acoustically, just my opinion only. Oh and omg what if they tried an unplugged gig of about 3-4 songs!

This is because it's slash's solo band he has the right to play these songs as much as everyone else.
No i had to get home so couldn't wait around but i went to a Steel Panther gig on Tuesday and i met them and the whole band signed my Ibanez. The gig was awesome and like em or not you cant deny their talent and Satchel is an AMAZING guitarist!!

You are sort of right. Leo Fender released the first production solid body electric guitar, which was the Fender Telecaster. Les Paul invented the solid body guitar in the 1940s. He took the guitar to Gibson to see if they were interested, but Gibson passed, saying there was no market for it. When Fender released the Telecaster, Gibson decided to call Les Paul back in, and the Les Paul guitar was born.
