It was perfect for AC1, Ac 1 stealth is mainly based on social stealth This is how AC1 stealth works : Don't look suspicious, and don't be the center of attention in the crowd (accidentally bumping into jar carriers or getting slapped by lunatics) don't do any Socially unacceptable actions (parkour, running)in front of guards when they are alerted So it worked perfectly for AC1, but in AC2 the game gave us complex indoor infiltration missions, and no ability to crouch, it was horrible. But AC Brotherhood fixed that problem with clever level design and social stealth opportunities in infiltration missions.
I love the historical accuracy of ac1. The way that true assassins are portrayed, but also Altaïr’s great skills to keep himself alive after he kills. It’s a nice touch that “perfect stealth” doesn’t mean “ghost stealth” as real Assassins were usually spotted immediately after hitting their mark.
That's because I became too desperate to escape after that box ledge hanging at 1:58😆 Since this game has no restart mission option each mistake makes me extra nervous 😆
No detection bars, no crouching, no pinging enemies. Just casually walking by and hoping you timed it right. Old school Ubisoft
yeah this was shit

Love how Altair reports back and he starts writing in journal for records...
That used to be called a "Captain's Log"
The more I watch these clips, the more I'm convinced AC1 was made by aliens 😂 Like, just look at the graphics of this game, much ahead of its time
i love how you kept it rolling till altair got to the bureau. it was a nice touch
2:23 That always happens to me too lol.

Lore accurate Altair
Time to turn on my old 360 to replay this masterpiece
Very good clip
This target had unique diaologue if you kill every guard in stealth mode. So I consider this way the canon way.
Try it the next time.
I think I managed to kill him without detection during one of my playthroughs (if I remember correctly). That was pure adrenaline.
AC1 is still superior in my eyes
