Watch out for the child police. I believe Farming, Fixing, and Fabricating can't get a play button because he has child abuse demerits for letting his daughter drive a combine at 15.
I remember watching when you had the black extended cab f150 way back in the day. Then you had the issues with the 550 headed down to Florida. Been watching for a long time lol
Yea, they're "filler" bags to get you your proper seed count, seen this many times with different crop seeds. I believe this is why now days, you get tote bags or the plastic tote container. Truly enjoy your video's, have followed you from the very beginning. Wes, if I may offer a suggestion for ya, keep a battery vac with you when filling seeds, would save you lost seeds and I know many would disagree but, money is money period. As always, another excellent video. Cheers :)
they probably bagged the 50 lb bag then did a germination test and it was off they then gave you extra seed to make up the differents per unit. when seed is sold it has to meet a set standard of gemination.
I understood that soybeans need lots of Phos (P) and ignore the Nitrogen (N) because they make their own (if properly inoculated) but they fix nitrogen from the air and supercharge the following corn crop.
I told my kids when they were about williams age they could learn to drive a tractor when they could put their feet on the pedals and see over the sterring wheel . They belined to the lawn tractor . I taught them to drive it .... clearly child abuse today !
Just curious do they still build their planters in Moline Illinois where yours was built? I thought I saw a used one the other day at our local New Holland dealer that said it was built in Horcon Iowa but I was hurrying so I might have gotten that wrong
I have a early 99 super duty first year they started building them single cab long bed 204,000 original miles put a new trans in it 4 inch lift on 35's gets on average 26 miles a gallon I use it to drive to my hunting property in North Florida or around town only have a 2022 ford f350 7.3 gas to pull my landscaping trailer 5 days a week. The 7.3 powerstroke best motor ever made in my opinion 👍
Is that small bag untreated for a refuge? We get brevant corn for silage and some of it comes with "refuge in a bag" usually its some other variety i think, supposed to be for the bugs.
It probably has something to do with having non treated plants in the stand so the bugs dont become resistant to the engineered traits in your stand. Most companies blend it all together which is why you’ll see certain plants covered in bugs and looks likes crap and the rest of the stand looks amazing. In addition you’ll be able to see a bug problem in your field early before it becomes a disaster.
ok so it obvious you have not been watching for a long time so I will let you know why its on its third engine and has a different transmission. so the transmission is ZF not built by ford and the people that put it together didn't put in a check valve when they built it resulting in improper lubrication.as for the first engine well its not ford ether its navistar. like all the diesels in the fords until the 6.7 liter. anyway the first one was junk when I bought the truck the previous owner did something I have no idea. the second was a remanufactured in Mexico it was not rebuilt correctly and had a broken ring in the #8 resulting in failure. the third issue was not at all fords failed or Navistar's fault. it was the technicians idiotic idea to put a bolt in the intake side of the head and it wore through resulting is a failure. it was repaired in 2010 and is running strong. the truck that is ford is 25 years old and no real issues with it other than maintenance.
Also have to remember that the 7.3 also came with the ford E4od transmission. That particular transmission was in the ford f150s. So you take a 7.3 gutless as it might be but a torque monster and you put a diesel motor infront of a 1/2 ton truck your asking for failure
Love your style, it's like a burst of creativity in every video!

Already got his 100,000 subscriber play button and next isn't until 1 million.
My first customer combine job I was twelve ,moved the combine about 8 miles and set it for spelts
Andrew was driving at 9

The small bags are the weeds seeds . Thistles and stuff
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
They made you some bags so William could put some in the planter .

guess should have waited to finish the video lol

I was thinking the way you were going your truck was going to end up being like Trigger's broom.
So glad that you finally got that mike now we can hear you.
Would the small bag be like a refuge seed although I've not seen it. Love all of your videos and good to see your able to post again!

Sometimes you're the windshield. Sometimes you're the bug!
Thanks Wes, William.
👍☺
Good Morning Westley,Will looks like a big help
Those mics are brilliant 👍
Is those smaller bags untreated seed for the bugs…..or disease resistant…..I remember seeing a farmer explaining something like that….?
Yes, I think they call it refuge so bugs don't become resistant to the treatement.
I’m seeing a lot more thistle around most of my fields this year. Been out spot spraying twice since the first of May.
Just curious do they still build their planters in Moline Illinois where yours was built? I thought I saw a used one the other day at our local New Holland dealer that said it was built in Horcon Iowa but I was hurrying so I might have gotten that wrong
Lol those small bags are for your son to help out

Wes what ever happened to the bolt found in the engine?
Also, I own a 28 year old Dodge Ram. Bought new in 96.

Never seen refuge for soybeans
He’s growing up!
Children are not allowed to grow up any more. Love the video. Jim in Chile.
What is your target yield going into that grassland?
Soybean seed doesn’t require refuge.
That is what I thought too.
Good video.
The new camera and mic really work good, I can hear you great now.
Keep the good work going
Maybe it's the camera angle, but the small bag of seed look darker to mean, then the seed in the large bags!
Looks like they gave you some little sample bags.
Bean-wise if the others are treated ate they non treated refuge seeds like youve spoken about mixed in your corn to help stop resistance or not
Wish the advert didn't come up giving me time to post it before you then answered it five seconds later 🤦🏻♂️
Hey wes those bean came from the town that I live in they have a small research farm just north west of town
Your little guy is cool as can be and growing like a weed.
I feel you need to sometime invest in a seed tender. Stay safe
Come on Wes, each seed is going to grow a bushel? 140 thousand bushels to the acre?
Each seed is supposed to grow a plant A bushel is a bit high
I have a 2018 ford f-150
That's a lot to take in about a bag of seed....
Are they doing like they do seed corn putting in seed to attract the insects
Your wife probably ordered the wrong bags
Wes the furd isn’t broken in yet
them seeds i hope they not shortchanging you more seed
👍👍
101 was the first serial number in 89. Yours is a 1990 unit
Old girl she is

Are they plot bags?
Corn is a lot cheaper than canola. It’s 700-1000 bag. A bag does 10 acres
a bag of corn does 2.2 acres so close to 5 bags to do 10 acres that's well over $1000.00 to do 10 acres of corn in seed cost.
It was a Friday and the kid that was filling the bags they give him so many bags to fill he ran outta seed
that kid defo growing now he has shot up in height
Make “ok so” great again!
2008 jd done well too
219k mi is nothing!
I use 104,000 plants per acre
👍🏻🍺
Wes when you are stumped I have no clue I’m being 100 percent honest
It’s refuge
Child abuse? Nope, not even a little. 👍
7 bu., corn in 2023 dry land burned up in Kansas

I love Fords, Third engine, new transmission, total junk.
