Scammers are pretending to sell farm equipment and it's hurting farmers and communities. In this video I dive deep to show you who's behind it and how they operate.
Thanks to @DEYOCLUB and the Avah Outreach team for their help on this.

hi
No, thanks, I`m leaving sharing your own data to you xD
Hi , where can I contact you. I was recently contacted by a scammer but I didn't reply.
Maybe it is a scam. The guy investing the farm equipment could be in cahoots with the scammers. Better safe than sorry.
Just a teeenytinylil request.
When you find out the details of these scam bank accounts, plz check the surrounding locations for college campuses as well as
gas stations/convenient/liquor stores or "Indian" restaurants which are run by

The Bulgarian scammer's got to be one of my favorite scammers that you've exposed. Having Deyo get involved in wasting his time was the cherry on top. Another great video!
Deyo is one of the greats!

This feels counterintuitive on their part. I feel like Southern Farmers are the LAST people who would hear "George" and want to do business with him.

That's what I think about a lot of scams, I'm scambaiting a romance scammer and I can't imagine who would fall for this, especially since they're pretending to be a Navy Admiral- who apparently has way too much time on their hands and makes plenty of grammatical errors. And he doesn't know how to talk like a normal person. I asked him what his favorite color was and he said, "Blue, but sometimes red if I'm feeling adventurous".
That bulgarian scammer was so fun to watch, he's the scammer with the most optimistic voice ever!
He even sounded like he was in the military any time he said “Sir, Yes Sir” like okay claim down.

I got a scam call, from a deputy sheriff, about missing Jury Duty. He said a warrant for my arrest had been issued. These Jury Duty scams are on the rise. I don't know how you could go after these guys, but I would love it if you to waste their time.
Sheriff: and for the low payment of 300. I'll lie and say you showed up to jury duty
I've got our sheriff's cellphone number. I would text him while I'm on the call. I don't know if he's got connections to cybercrimes feds or not..
My local news covered the jury scam a few days ago. I’m wondering when people online will look into it.
I got a call once for missing Jury duty. all I remember was she said her name was barbara. I think she referenced an arrest warrant. I thought it odd tho because I was a parent of a 5 yr old and had already be excused three years earlier so I still had 3 years to go. I made a police report for a paper trail because I didn't know those scams were going around at the time. It was in 2008. As I"m giving the info to the cop I realized it was Colombus Day !! A FEDERAL HOLIDAY. LOL. If I had caught that while on the phone they would have hung up on me.

Thank You Sir! It was our pleasure to assist going down that rabbit hole with you and assisting in getting those bank accounts terminated.
As a farmer, I find this absolutely despicable on a personal level. Only 6% of the entire world is used for farming, and a lot of the people who are farmers are older people who are susceptible to scams such as this one. Luckily your tried and true farmers aren't buying from sketchy online dealerships, but thousands of barns close their doors every week due to financial burden and other suchlike reasons. Losing thousands of dollars trying to buy a new piece of equipment that never ends up existing can ruin folks. It breaks my heart.
The nerve of those scammers getting mad at you for wasting their time when all they do is steal people's money (and time)
“Go home” that is the sound of a defeated scammer
He knows that Rafone knows, and knows that neither will outright say it. It such a defeated scammer, haha
As a Bulgarian, I was waiting for the day some Bulgarians ended up on here. Great video as always, keep wasting their time.
I don't mean some Bulgarians can't speak (advanced) English. But, that guy sounds like a native (US) English speaker. He's probably an expat living there...who is unfortunately working as a scammer.
@@adammoore7447 He is definitely Bulgarian. A lot of Bulgarians speak without any easily identifiable accent. I can hear it clearly that he is Bulgarian and probably lives in Bulgaria or some other European country. He's not in the US, I'm 99% certain

I live in a fairly rural area. Someone on a big community Facebook group advertised farm fresh eggs, not unusual in itself. But this person turned off commenting and asked for people to contact her through DMs, which were of course signs of a possible scam. I went ahead and messaged her to ask for her address and she asked for my address, saying she would deliver. I replied asking her to meet up at a nearby McDonald's and never heard back. You never can tell what angle a potential scam will take.
I run several large FB groups, and the main scammers we see are the eggs, the HVAC duct cleaning, and work-at-home jobs.
Had you given your address, they’d have your name and address, and maybe soon your phone number too. I wouldn’t want a scammer having all that info.
that's a big scam. I baited one of those once. it was for raw milk and eggs. I gave them a link to click for directions to my house and they ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to click on the link. I tried for DAYSSSS... they ignored every attempt of me trying. sob's... pissed me off LOL.

Excellent job protecting our farmers. I think a real farmer would want to come to the business and see the tractor in person.
As someone who used to live in Wyoming, it's hilarious to see them say they're in Douglas considering there's nothing there but cows and a few humans
Is Douglas one of those places where there are more cows than humans then?
There's a giant jackalope there.

I have a special kind of hate for these scammers who have no soul.
I feel a little sorry for them personally, some of them do have guilt about what they do and some are just stupid.
I’ll tell you who is getting it bad by them is the trucking industry. The scammers selling parts on fb has got ridiculous and the bad part is they are GOOD.. they have actual Americans that will talk to you if you call them which naturally instills confidence. And they will repeatedly try to get you to come by in person the same way these guys do just so you’ll feel more comfortable
Lol that guy on the phone isn’t an American, these people train their asses off to sound American. Just listen closely it’s pretty obvious when you do.
Wow Ben you are so good at finding all types of scams 👏🏽thankyou so much for continuing to expose these scams 🥰😘

If they don’t have a southern accent like that gentleman calling out the scam…..🚩✋🛑⚠️⛔️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Are you working now?
"Yeah" so professional. Clearly he's got this scamming people thing down.
The foreign accent was an immediate red flag. I always buy my farm equipment from either an authorized dealer or directly from other farmers.
Other farmers locally could have foreign accents. They could even have accents of native peoples. Doing a racism will not help you. Asking where they're at and meeting up on the pullout near the local corn silo will.
@@ellenorbjornsdottir1166I know in my area at least half the farmers were not born in the U.S.
Exactly right! Buy local or reputable dealership or farmer to farmer directly. You cannot trust anyone these days. I had to laugh out loud one day when my phone rang and when I looked at who was calling - it was me. I was calling myself??
The last scammer was hilarious at the end! Lol, but he was doing a pretty good accent. I could hear it starting to slip the more frustrated he got I could believe that was a southern American for a while.
Being from the south I knew it was fake from the get go.
Clearly been getting some “kitboga” schooling on green screen use :)

A farm equipment scam happened to my granddaddy recently. We live in South Georgia and He owns an equipment company and a man from Nigeria reached out to him and asked if he could put a blade on a tractor for him that he had recently bought from somebody down the road. I don’t know how much it was but it was definitely over 600 bucks. He never paid the money. We never got any compensation.
My theory is, an American that knows a thing or two about tractors moved to Bulgaria, and thought of scamming his countrymen back home. A true patriot.
No he is not an American you can tell that he has a fake accent and that it falls off occasionally
Read again that comment. You misunderstood@@manav-df7ke
The last scammers accent is so fascinating, because it switches between an African accent, a really good Southern accent and rural Midwestern because it's a little too nasally sometimes.
I don't think he's necessarily in Bulgaria just because his time zone is the same.
The best thing about this video is the accents, their foreign accents, and how you change your accent to southern accent.😂😂
I have been home from work for several weeks with an injury and just found your channel on you tube and have really enjoyed your videos thank you for taking the time to make them

No he did use his real accent for a bit and it did some pretty Eastern european lol. Also yeah gmt+3 is not just bulgaria, but it means he set his phone or pc whatever to Sofia time. Thanks for sharing these scams, A friend of mine here in Canada told me about a dealership called LL equipment in New Mexico who had tractors he was interested in a couple years ago. I went to the site and figured it was a scam just like this. I actually spent half a wet day here in the farm office google searching tractors and construction equipment they supposedly had. I found it all over in previous listings, it wasn't hard to spot as the back ground in some pictures didn't look like places in the USA or other country registration numbers on machines appeared to.
I even found pictures of their workshop staff they had stolen, 1 was actually a youtuber I was subscribed to here in Canada of all things you could read his name on the back of his coveralls while working on a kubota ! A year later I searched the company and all the complaints from people getting scammed came up, and they'd vanished. I've seen the same happen in Ebay listings in the US for machines and found them for sale with dealers in the U.K that actually own them at the time. The last one I found was a fairly new JCB backhoe loader, I reported it to the company to watermark their pictures and to eBay who just kept the listing up and didn't care . Take care
Thanks, as always, for doing this important work.
I will say, the "Max Fordyce" at least sounds like a country feller, doesn't he?
