    You was fortunate to be working on the KC-10's and they was nice aircraft. I remember one of them catching on fire at Barksdale AFB while I was stationed there in the Reserve Wing and working on the A-10 Warthog. That airplane stayed near the terminal for a long time as they salvaged parts from it.

    Think of it like this. What other job could you have where 3 officers drive you to work.

    How rare is it to be a boom operator. Do they pop up on the list frequently, do I have a good chance to be one or is it rare?

      Pretty rare I didn’t realize how lucky I was until I passed tech school. There are only 600 booms in the Air Force

      Dorian Cozart do you have any tips for taking the depth perception?

    • @cozart865
      @cozart865  Před 6 lety

      There is no way to cheat the depth perception that I know of. You must pass the test every after you get the job to because some people loose it after awhile

      Dennis Morris yes because they are never home. On top of that they travel and have really bizarre sleeping schedule
