Chloe felt disappointed with Lucifer so many times but this is the first time he is disappointed in her.
Lucifer face heartbreaking
They're both such amazing actors... and before this, we've never gotten to see them do a scene this raw, this real, because of the barrier that's stood between them. But Chloe learning the truth, and then Lucifer learning about the almost-betrayal --- it just blows everything wide open in their relationship and you can tell without a doubt that even if they manage to patch things up from here, that relationship will never be quite the same.
My heart started breaking from the moment Lucifer said, "I don't care that he was trying to hurt me. I care that you were." He thought that of all people, he could trust Chloe no matter what, so the fact that she even considered turning her back on him like that must have been devastating. That said, I'm glad they got to this point, because Chloe needed to admit she was afraid. It's sad to see her trying so hard to reconcile these feelings of fear she now has for the Devil with the feelings of love she has for Lucifer, her partner.
That's deep.
Comics Lucifer is an anti-vilain, yes, he is a sadistic monster, but he does make good on his deals and is portrayed as more sympathetic than the rest of demonkind and is polite, that is why he gets pissed when people put the blame on him for everything bad that happens or that they do

Wonder how she's going to react if she ever finds out he killed his brother Urial to protect her.
Or that he died to save her...
or that he made a wager with god for her...
Or he got huet many times for her.
The list can go on.

I wonder hw she'll feel if she knew that he made a deal with the god for her life.
Or dying and going back to hell to save her.
Or killing uriel to protect her.
Or getting hurt over and over just to save her.
Or fought with so many just to be with her.
Or have been in love with her since the begining
Or the fact that he was always telling the truth but also not fully in fear of losing her.
The list could go on.
So, yea I'm kinda happy he left.
She needs to feel what he felt for sooo.. soo long.
Right she acts like he lied to her when throughout all the seasons he told the truth even his name is the truth. Plus he literally protected her by wrapping him and herself in his wings then his wings got shot up which is painful. But he did it to protect Chloe.

Just watched this episode, i love the delivery of the line "how could you" even while wearing his devil face he looks and feels so betrayed

what a love of the show is not just that give us a different perspective of heaven and hell, i love the fact that even lucifer is a lot of things, he is not a liar specially with chloe

I get her point.. i mean he's the bloody devil himself.
But... i also get why he's so hurt. They've been together for so long.. and yet she didn't trust him hurt him on another level since he did so much for her. Too much even for a celestial being.

Every story throughout time says Lucifer is evil? Umm. . . not quite. Judaism does not have a concept of a fallen angel. Ha Satan is more like the District Attorney for God.

What is the name of the music before world of fire? Anyone know ?
I wish they would further explain how and why he was able to show his face to Chloe out of the blue. Cause at first supposedly God took it from him and he wasn't able to show Chloe his true form.
They explain it in a different episode or don’t go over it well. Nobody took his devil face or even Amenadiel’s wings. The angels can self-actualize...so basically:
Amenadiel couldn’t have his wings or powers because he THOUGHT God was punishing him, but when he stayed and helped Charlotte, he believed he deserved his wings and therefore got them back.
When Lucifer lost his devil face it was because he didn’t see himself as a monster. But now with Chloe rejecting him as if he is, he has it back.
