The best thing the writers did was build the base of their partnership in S1 and half of S2. They showed Deckerstar being bantery and trusting each other first before they kissed. He’s always got her back and their romance grew so well because they were friends first, even though their feelings were complicated and so many misunderstandings happened before they got together
Agree, loved their hilarious banter, trust and respect for each other. Build up was slow but that's how they had a relationship growth and developed true feelings for each other

Season 1 was just 10/10. Lucifer at it's absolute best. The humor, dialogue, perfect mix up of fantasy and real world (fantasy stuff was an overkill in netflix's seasons) and this incredible relationship between these two. Pure joy to watch them on the screen. I think I've never had more fun watching a TV show as I had watching 1st season of Lucifer. And don't get me wrong, I liked all seasons of this show, but this one has just something special about it.

There's a lot of layers to that scene, Lucifer is playing Knocking on heavens door which Father Frank was playing earlier in the episode, but whilst he's playing it, Lucifer's own little angel walks through the door and answers the knocking. They then play heart and soul together, which is a song all about being in love, Chloe just gave up a chance to fix her marriage with Dan to be with Lucifer and Lucifer is realising it was more than just jealousy he was feeling. Plus when Chloe tells him that she's there for him, he looks at her like he wants to kiss her, then like he wants to breakdown, then he composes himself and deflects the conversation on to asking if she can play the piano.
i loved how they gave us all the time in the world to absorb this beautifully growing friendship and didn't just skip to a relationship. that's why this show is one of a kind❤️
The piano scene with Chloe and Lucifer is one of my favorites in the series. Lucifer being down, after making his first actual friend on earth, Chloe comforting him with the little piano knowledge she had, and just being there for him.

Lucifer seemed to have a deeper British accent in Season 1, especially in that scene where he says, "You *can't* deny there's a connection between us". He sounded like a Shakespearean actor.
Maybe because at this point Chloe began to totally distrust Lucifer, even that he helped to solves cases, because what happen in the end of the last episodes of Season 2, first began with distrust, then with little betrayals, she acted like a woman scorned, instead of really listening, it took a death of Charlotte Richards to finally stop and listen, but even then, she only awkwardly apologising to Lucifer, for not listening to him since the beginning, but then, he devil face appears leading the the whole fiasco of Season 4, I not think that the tone changed much in the last seasons compared to the previous seasons, this show always was about police corruption, psychological trauma, and trust issues, disguised behind all the drama and the humour.
The last clip though. Lucifer merging his complexity with Chloe' s simple notes and them forming a beautiful melody and lucifer being so content with it even though he might have taken part in creation of all kind of music over the eons.
Start using your hobbies/interests to find like-minded people. Try stuff like Meet-up, or bumble for friends. Join a hiking group, a dungeons and dragons group, etc.

Something I've never understood on this show is all the allusions to hell being a fiery place, yet every time they've depicted it, there's been no fire 🔥. Even the torture-ees haven't been sweating. The only thing even close is the ashes falling.

I certainly not miss the late Season 2, Season 3 and Season 4, sure it was great drama, but if you are new to the show, it really frustrate you and infuriate you, first Lucifer over reacted over his mother manipulation and didn't realise that his plot to fool his mother was hurting other people, Chloe retaliate by acting as a scorned woman the whole Season 3, till the consequences hit her in the face when Charlotte was killed, all because she didn't want to listen to Lucifer warnings, sure, she did an awkward apology, but the damage was done, and then she nearly betray Lucifer, even that she already known that he was the fucking Devil if the producers didn't decided to push the fucking reset button in Season 1.

I certainly not miss the late Season 2, Season 3 and Season 4, sure it was great drama, but if you are new to the show, it really frustrate you and infuriate you, first Lucifer over reacted over his mother manipulation and didn't realise that his plot to fool his mother was hurting other people, Chloe retaliate by acting as a scorned woman the whole Season 3, till the consequences hit her in the face when Charlotte was killed, all because she didn't want to listen to Lucifer warnings, sure, she did an awkward apology, but the damage was done, and then she nearly betray Lucifer, even that she already known that he was the fucking Devil if the producers didn't decided to push the fucking reset button in Season 1.
