In hind sight, this seems obvious, but when i watched this episode the first time, I didn't catch the foreshadowing in the last thing Luci said here.:) "I go off and do something dramatic, and then I realise I'm right where I'm supposed to be." Moving to LA from Hell (is the "something dramatic"), where he learns at the end of season 4 that, Hell is where he is "supposed to be," where he is needed most.

So when the ambulance drives away to the hospital and reaches that certain distance from which he is invulnerable again, will Lucifer just heal up and be like: “Okay, gents, that’s it, I’m all good now.”
That she truly cares for him he was still under the impression that she hated him and wanted to send him back to hell. But she showed that she was willing to die just to protect him because she really cared for him regardless if he is the devil.
He now understands Chloe's fears and struggles to accept his devil side. That her betrayals are just because of her fears, but she is still the same person who cares so much about Lucifer and other people that she's willing to die for them. And that's when he came up with his closure. He wanted to be with Chloe even though as her partner and friend, but he'll no longer push his feelings for her.
So what happens when he gets to the hospital? Also, if alcohol has no effect on him and he only drinks it for the taste, why did Eve add it to his drip? Enquiring minds want to know.
Alcohol does effect him he just has to have heaps of it for it to work because he has a ‘pesky supernatural metabolism’. And when he gets to the hospital he will be fine and heal super fast lol cause Chloe isn’t there
Am I the only one who felt a 10 episode season was too short? I mean, not the point that the show is so good we need more episodes, but, the story felt too rushed, we barely had any time to get to like Eve, now she's gone, Chloe coming to accept him as he is, we barely get any of that, I love when a good arch unfolds, but this one felt too rushed...

I really enjoyed season four. Chloe Decker was the villain of season three. They ruined her character. She fell in love and got busy with a guy who did nothing for her, never sacrificed, never even really cared for her. It was awful. Watching Chloe have to go to the same thing almost made up for it.
WARNING SPOILERS: Chloe wasn't a villain in Season 3. Her relationship with Pierce was hard to watch, but in many ways Lucifer pushed her into that relationship. It was clear that of the two men, she would have preferred Lucifer. But every time he had a chance to tell her that he wanted a relationship with her, he did not. He was still struggling with his feelings for her and what to do about them. In that last scene before Pierce proposed, when she went to meet with Lucifer and he had that romantic dinner spread, she was almost begging him to tell her that he wanted a relationship. He couldn't say it, and she was in tears. When Pierce went to her apartment after that, Chloe was devastated by that meeting with Lucifer and really felt there was no chance for a relationship with him. So at a weak point, on the rebound from that disappointing dinner with Lucifer, she accepted the chance for a relationship with the only man in her life who was offering her one. But she soon realized she couldn't marry Pierce, because it was Lucifer she really loved.
