@@shimmer4771 No, difficulty is in the action itself. Whatever you have described are the hardships. It is no more difficult to put on hijab than it is to grow the beard and trim the moustache.
      1. It’s the hardships that follow that are painful. Not the action. This is what I said.
May Allah bless our sisters immensely who do not waver despite the hardships.
      2. However in obedience of Allah does Allah make hardships go away.
      “Fa inna ma’l ‘usri yusra.”
So indeed with hardship is relief.
So to speak of how “hard” it is all the time will also deprive you from this benefit. It takes away from the ‘ajr of it to vocalise the discomfort.
      “Innallaha ma’assabireen.”
Indeed Allah is with those who are patient. Surah Al Baqarah 103.

People are misinterpreting that verse because they assume "covering their body" is the same as "covering the hair", which it isn't. The purpose of the veil is to cover their chest, since back at Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), had women literally having little to no clothing on at all. In today's society, outside of the west, every other country is literally wearing regular clothes without covering their hair, and that's still fine. Therefore, Hijab is not even required. It's not even one of the five pillars of Islam for crying out loud. 😭

This is misinformation; read Quran for yourself - there is nothing “good” about the niqab as the Quran is clear. Note how the first garment it refers to as the best garment; is the garment of righteousness. Which can include humility within what it means to be righteous.
[Quran 7:26] "O children of Adam, we have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as an adornment. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of God's signs, that they may take heed."
[Quran 24:31] And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments except what normally appears. Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.
[Quran 33:59] O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they shall LENGTHEN their garments. Thus, they will be recognized and avoid being insulted. God is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
[Quran 33:55] The women may relax (their dress code) around their fathers, their sons, their brothers, the sons of their brothers, the sons of their sisters, the other women, and their (female) servants. They shall reverence God. God witnesses all things.
[Quran 24:60] The elderly women who do not expect to get married commit nothing wrong by relaxing their dress code, provided they do not reveal too much of their bodies. To maintain modesty is better for them. God is Hearer, Knower.

Hijab is a woman’s free will
No where in the Quran Allah commands of hijab a must.
Muslim father or husband has no right to tell his wife or daughter, as free individuals, they may choose to or not to wear the hijab as it is only a culture and identity not a compulsory religious act. They, however must dress decently as the Qur'an has commanded by covering their bosoms and extended below the knee. But if they chose to add beyond what was required of them... It is their choice. Hijab was originally a semitic culture informed not by religion but by environment. In fact that is why in the past (and to some extent today) semite men wear the turban too to protect themselves from extreme sun heat and desert dust. When Islam came it gave out the basics in dress code for women
Qur'an 24:31 "Tell the believing women.... Not to display their beauty except what is apparent thereof, and to draw their covering over their breasts...."
Apparently God wants women to cover the provocative parts of their body (breasts, buttocks, thigh) in order not to arouse desire in men. But if anyone decided to cover herself from head to toe.. It is her choice but mustn’t impose it on others in the name of religion.

Of course it's her choice to follow her religion or not.
Like it's your choice to wear helmet during driving. Either you wear it or not it's doesn't take it out off compulsory category. Obviously you would be breaking the law if you don't and you will face consequences for that.
