Every Liverpool fan has their own story about what makes Liverpool so special to them. Maybe it’s the days of Ian St. John. Perhaps it’s the crazy horse himself, Emlyn Hughes. It could be the amazing Ian Rush and his 346 goals for Liverpool. Many of us herald King Kenny and Steve Heighway running down the wing. Or maybe you’re from the Istanbul generation like me, and that moment Stevie G lifted the European Cup in the Ataturk stadium is indelibly inked on your brain as a memory to last a lifetime.
Whatever our Liverpool story is, Anfield is the birthplace, the cornerstone, for these cherished memories. Come with me as I show you around this theatre of dreams. Let me show the vantage points that you can enjoy of the pitch and stadium. I’ll take you backstage - right where the action is formed. Explore the dressing rooms for both the away teams and also for Liverpool themselves! See where the Liverpool players are wined and dined and get a taste for the post match interviews and press conferences. There are a few surprises along the way - just make sure you’ve got your phone and camera along the way - there’ll be plenty of times where you’ll want to take a photograph or to record the action!

great video itll be great at 61000.....Theres talk theyll redevelop the SKD stand but not increase the size? no point in that...either leave it at 61000 (thatd be the 4th biggest club ground in uk) or if you are going to spend another 100 million then really go for it and increase the KD by 9000...That would I assume mean expanding nearer those houses may even mean knocking them down.....The KOP is another massive undertaking.....They could definitely looking t builing a road tunnell inside an expanded KOP....So traffic could drive below the rear of the KOP, still at ground level.......Those 2 developments woud probably cost 200 million and could both take 18 months each .....BUT end result would be simply extraordinary....probably puhing towards 80,000 plus big screens , more hospitality ....But all on the same hallowed turf....The expansions too would allow them to increase the pitch size to allow internationals to be played at anfield too....an 80,000 anfield would be 1 of the best stadiums in the world and the biggest and best in the UK
It’d be interesting to see what they do next! As you say though, expanding the KOP and SKD will be a bigger undertaking with the road and housing. Definitely a project for the future though!
