Jürgen Klopp stand or Salah Stand

I really like how they’ve stayed at Anfield it’s got so much history. New stadiums are too perfect in my opinion I prefer the old school ones
....is the right answer.
Anfield will definitely look like a modern looked stadium after the phase 2 is completed.
As soon as all 4 sides are renovated its gonna look modern and be the loudest atmosphere in football , should hold around close to 80,000 when complete
The new stadiums are only for entertainment. The old ones are for sports
@@raungelmarlance8208 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
From a Dortmund perspective, improving Anfield would be a gift to the football world but try to NEVER impact the soul of this stadium. Do it with caution.
Cheers
Henry is too smart to mess it up.
well henry might be smart in some money situations in other situations he sells out remember super leauge nonsense!!
@@deadinthebed963 Henry went with what other big clubs went for. Imagine had the SL actually materialized then we as fans would blame our owners for not going for it when we had a chance.
It’s just hard to point fingers in situations like that. Remember what happened in PL era when Utd moved on so fast with all the commercialization and we were left behind.
That's probably why the smart thing would be to never touch The Kop. That is the soul of Liverpool. Arsenal's North Bank and Clock End of Highbury got mucked about and now we're stuck in a soulless bowl.

No just a bigger better version. Got to be right on top of pitch thought. I hate stands with gaps between pitch and stand lack of atmosphere and intimidation.

FSG (LFC's owners) planned to redevelop Anfield to hold a capacity of at least 60,000 and with this coming expansion, it will just exceed that number. There are no other redevelopment plans for the other two stands and it's unlikely that there will be any plans any time soon.
Between the completion of the Main Stand and the ARE 8 years will pass (7 if there was no delay). If the same time frame would be kept we could expect a 2030 completion for Phase 3 and 2037 for Phase 4.
@@grigandy Why wont people who dont know the ground listen? There is no phase 3 or 4 because there's no space. The club doesnt own the houses behind the SKD so they arent being demolished anytime soon. There's a main road behind the Kop. Buying out the businesses to re route the road and extend the stand would be half the cost of any rebuild.
@@1701_FyldeFlyer not quite true. There is an amazing video on utube about the possibility of 3rd and 4th expansions. They are both duable but depend on the City Council opening up old rail lines. The buying - up of property is made easier bc Liverpool deal with a Housing group as part of the Anfield regeneration programme..Only people inside the club will know.If we had rich owners it would be much easier to do . We don’t . So , i personally don’t expect it to happen. Maybe Kenny stand and safe standing at the Kop but nowt else.
@@1701_FyldeFlyer depends if the maths add up at the end of the day, and yes I'm very familiar to anfield been going for 45 years. Remember they are business men who own the club, they are expanding the ground to add value to the club, it's all about the money to them.
@@michaelfinn7871 "There is an amazing video on utube about the possibility of 3rd and 4th expansions. They are both duable but depend on the City Council opening up old rail lines." An "amazing 'What if' video" on CZcams is not valid evidence. Liverpool have ruled out Phase 3 and 4 because they don't have the space to. They would have to demolish a lot of houses for it to happen and so it means they would need to offer HUGE amounts of money in compensation to the households who would be forced to move.
Gonna look so nice

Lack of ambition this transfer window by the looks of it, bit worried about it. 👀

I don't doubt our quality currently speaking, but we have some aging players and need to start thinking about quality replacements. I'm seeing a lot of great players and young gems with amazing potential going to other clubs, just afraid Liverpool are missing out on one or more of these types of players with their reluctancy to sign anyone. The clubs around us strengthening and planning for the future, I just worry we will be left behind. It's not broken, but it has the potential to fall apart if Liverpool aren't careful, that's all I'm saying.
@@donnaw4249 we don’t have enough spaces to bring in anymore non homegrown players. Gotta shift some of the existing players first before bringing new ones in (non homegrown). Can’t force existing players to leave either so it depends on whether we have any outgoings first and foremost. I don’t think there is an abundance of quality homegrown players out there who can add to our squad and make it better either. They’re usually overpriced too.
I don’t think you need to be looking at other teams and worrying either . A lot of them are trying to play catch up with us.
The Kop and SKD Stand need a new roof to match the other two stands.
Yeah i think the SKD stand could do with a face life to match Anfield rd end, away the white cladding and replace with the massive windows
I was reading something the other day and a guy said that he spoke to someone at the stadium just recently and he asked about further expansion after Annie Road is finished.
He was told that the club do have plans to expand the SKD stand but it would be further down the line so watch this space. I reckon it would take Anfield very close to a 70.000 capacity. Fingers crossed! Would be amazing if it happens.
WoW excellent
Looks great! Up the Reds 🔴

Please could you do a continuation video/animation of the 3rd phase and 4th phase by knocking out those houses. Just curious to see how beautiful it would look 😍

@@danieljamesmead Liverpool bought off the houses for the main stand. I made the point assuming the same. Obviously they would/should be compensated well if that happens.

Can you do illustrate a possible phase 3, please? same as the main stand on the other side. We just want to see it. Thank you very much!
We seriously need to find a way to expand the kop! It's iconic and the focal point of the ground it needs to be the biggest stand not the smallest it's going to look like an away end soon
Perhaps they could expand the ground internally by lowering the pitch. That’s what Chelsea was going to do.

Aren't Phase 3 and Phase 4 developments within in the greater plan for the Anfield area regeneration, NOT with the stadium, as per the FSG agreement with Liverpool City Council for the Main Stand expansion? We'd all like to see an 80 000 seat stadium to rival Signal Iduna Park or that shithole in Manchester, I'm not gonna deny that. FSG's original agreement in the take-over of Liverpool F.C. included a promise to build a 60 000 seat stadium, which they will have done on completion of The Anfield Rd stand, because that will take the capacity to 61 000. Any further development of the stadium is just rumour and wishful thinking as I understand it. The planning permission that F.S.G. applied for was just for a 60 000 seat capacity stadium. If they were planning to expand the whole stadium, wouldn't that have applied for an 80 000 seat stadium planning consent?
Nope, it's a dream but nothing will happen between now and 2030, we will all be old by the time anything happens if it ever does, maybe if the Kop crumbles something has to be done but otherwise they dont have the motivation to do it.
You are correct its wishful thing however based on FSG statements if it makes financial sense they will take measures to expand further.
@@BeitBridg Hi Joe, I really hope that Anfield is expanded to the fullest capacity it can be, and Liverpool F.C. become all they can be and more. I'd love for more Liverpool fans (especially Liverpool F.C. local supporters), I'm from and live in Sheffield btw, so I think of myself as a lesser-supporter. Having to two massive stands (when the Anfield Rd stand is finished) in comparison to the Kenny and The Kop will make the ground look incomplete. On the other hand, I really like the way FSG are financially managing the club, and not getting us into debt through making shrewd business moves, and through intelligent purchases in the player market. I'm not one of these 'FSG haters.' Like you say, we'll have to wait for further development until F.S.G. are financially in a position to make further commitments. I think maybe the wider Anfield local area is going to have to be developed first, so that the Anfield stadium can have a larger footprint, and larger capacity. It needs a better street layout for efficient access/egress of supporters (in relation to local residents concerns), and rows of houses need to be demolished and residents re-housed. A larger capacity stadium will lead to larger revenue, meaning cost can be recouped quicker, and a larger and better stadium will attract bigger players. But, I think you probably already knew that. We can hope. Merry Christmas to you Joe.
Phase 3 will be the Kop while SKD most likely won't be developed any further. Some insiders have said that the earliest for the Kop plans to be revealed would be around 2026/27 and only if the transportation issues could be solved but then those are just rumours.
It's good to see money being spent in improving the stadium and the youth setup but they need to do the same with the main squad aswell
Nice
I want the stadium to be like our German Friends Dortmund. They have such an amazing stadium , it has both modern and traditional charm. Can we just decrease the angle of KOP to 35 regress and then increase its capacity. It will be a great red wall of Liverpool
It already is.
I don't mind leaving the kop as it is, what worries me the walls on each of four angles, hope they fill it with chairs instead, that would increase the capacity if that what they're aiming.
Like Dortmund’s atmosphere and inside the stadium but it’s not a very attractive stadium to look at.
Yeah make more cheap seats available for more local season ticket holders. But be careful of taking the atmosphere away by making stuff too fancy.
moowalker why? I think it’s a great looking stadium
Amazing 😁,,, what's that little blue building in the background,,,think its called woodison hahaha,,,, ynwa
Phase 4 (the Kop) seems unlikely. More likely is that standing will be reintroduced and they'll redo the seats to rails.
More likely they would make two tiers and maybe add an extra row of seats
I'd like the capacity to be around 70,000 but also make the existing old stands to have a face lift to match the new roof line. YNWA
This is classic stadium
After the pretty shameful treatment of the Anfield area in the 80’s-2000’s, there’s absolutely no way the club are getting involved in forcing the residents in the streets behind the SKD out anytime soon so you can forget that stand. As for the Kop, even despite the road issues, it’s nowhere near financially viable to re build it for the small amount of extra seats you’d get so forget that too. That’s before we get started on the transport issue that no one can pay to fix. FSG promised 60k and they delivered. Anything bigger will have to be a new stadium 20 years down the line. Be massively happy with what we’ve got, and the team that play in it compared to 10 years ago.
Perhaps they could expand the ground internally by lowering the pitch. That’s what Chelsea was going to do.
@@sarahashun1180 Oh Sarah.
Your spot on.I think a lot of folks get carried away when they see a film like this. They also believe a lot of hype and lies that are posted about future plans and stadium designs which are just made up nonsense.I don't think Anfield is going to change much more in my life time and i am 50 this year.We also don't know where football is going to be in 10 years time regarding the money side of things?
@@jjgermancarsdontsignal7746 It's pretty symptomatic of the age we live in I'm afraid. There's a CZcamsr who is doing live updates around Anfield and stated that the club are buying up all the houses behind the SKD and will be doing that next. He was challenged in the comments by someone living in Skerries road saying wait a minute, me and my neighbours know nothing of this and we have no intention of moving. Meanwhile loads have taken that for gospel. The other problem is that people just think you can knock a new stand up (just so the stadium doesn't look lopsided and WE NEED 80K). There's literally no thought to the financial side, the impact on the local community, transport infrastructure and engineering challenges. FSG have proven time and again that they won't spend unless they get it back. The main is full of corporate, the new Annie will just about pay for itself over a long period but Im pretty sure they are only doing that to get to 60k that they promised (they certainly wont outlay the money on a Kop without corporate, which we all know no-one wants). There's a reason why apart from United, every other large stadium tops out around the 60k mark. And look at Uniteds, it's falling apart.
@@danieljamesmead The majority of those homes behind the SKD stand are owned by a housing associtaion, LFC sold them to them. Buying back is just a matter of funds if current or future owners desire someday. LFC wanted to avoid the debacle over owning the empty homes behind the main stand repeating.
I like it, just hope they revamp the interior real well..like the dressing room etc...something like the spurs stadium
Anfield must never die because this stadium has magic, there are special powers that give the players additional mental powers. Anything is possible for the LFC at Anfield
I wish phase 3 & 4 happen because then anfield would be more beautiful than today and also much bigger (70000+)
Anfield has never been beautiful. What happens inside it is.
Totally agree
Good luck to the club
Hey bondibot could you please do future Man Utd again with your prediction for stand expansions and also could you do future Portugal stadiums
I don't see there been a phase 3 because those row of houses look quite old, it wouldn't suprise me if they were listed and if they arn't I think people would protest them been knocked down since they are nice looking for terrace houses. I personally think if they do a phase 3 and 4 it should be about making the other stands look aesthetically simlar so the fact they are smaller doesn't stand out as much.
How many more seats would be added to SKD Stand if it is to come to the same height as the Main Stand? I imagine that parking lot could go underground if expansion plan is arranged, and if those houses are not to be demolished.
Can add 8000 seats with one more tier. Take us to about 70k 😊
Any chance, once plans are revealed of the new King power and local facilities?
Looking good ..will it still be the away end
Podrías hacelo con estadios de Latinoamérica, seria interesante verlos
I see phase 4 as phase 3 and phase 3 as 4. Redevelopment SKD stand needs some buldings to demolate, so redevelopment The Kop seems to be easiest way.
Phase 3&4 mean more seats or just joining KD stand and The Kop?
Where’s the phase 3+4 video gone? Used to be up on the channel right?
i like
The kop needs extending as anfield road now will look bigger
this seems cool but they need to be super careful because if done wrong anfield may not be as special
looking forward to Everton's new stadium
As far as local lads I know say, phase 2 will probably be it. The Kopp can't get expanded due to what's behind it and extra seats will start to mean dedicated transport links etc will be required as the local roads, stations etc wont be able to cope with the extra volume of people. Nice idea though.
you're spot on. It will cost too much infrastructure-wise. Anfield isn't the ideal location for an 80,000+ seater stadium. Industrial /retail parks with trams and parking facilities are the best places for the mega stadia
What's behind it ?

Old Trafford needs some TLC aswell
I think if they at least match the kop up as the new anfield road then I think it will be a nice looking stadium even without doing the kenny stand. I think the use of brick is great , sets it apart, you don’t see many new stadiums like that. Modern but with a nod to the past. Needs to not take 15 years though, great staying at anfield and what the stadium looks like but all taking way too long. Annie road should have already been finished being done straight after main, no excuse for a 3 year gap. Get a third side done soon and we can enjoy a great stadium for many years to come. Some obstacles but not in an engineering way, only if your penny pinching.
Maybe this is just a strange comment but do you know how we have the sir Kenny dalglish stand officially named? Why not just go the full hog now & rename the kop to the bill shankly kop stand,& maybe anfield road to the Bob Paisley anfield road end. I know both are honored already with statues & gates but not on the stadium itself . Anyways just a thought

Looks a bit funny why didn't they do the stand opposite the main stand to even it up and that's the best view around the half way line
Simply because they need to relocate many residents for that stand to be rebuilt. I'm expecting all 4 stands to be upgraded in future. It looks ugly from outside even though we all know inside would be brilliant. It's going to takes time.
