Great video, thank you for sharing the 3 tools from Alloyman . Keep up the great videos.
Thanks so much Scott! I appreciate it, and thanks for watching!
Great video as always thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see the new shop hope it’s coming out well
It just got finished yesterday! I have a video coming out on Tuesday showing what it looks like (no tools in it yet). I've got a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks so much for watching and thanks for commenting as always Jim!
Interesting development, I checked a bit deeper into their line of offerings and was surprised at some of the other offerings, if I needed a router...... thanks for the Saturday video to go with my late breakfast. Have a great weekend and I am expecting a grand tour of the new shop this week.... ;-)
You will get it Pat! Tuesday, I'm planning on a video on the final shop. It just got finished yesterday, so I've got a lot of moving around to do! Thanks as always for watching Pat!
Nice demo as always!
Thanks so much Ted! I appreciate it!
That you for sharing these promising tools. Love the tape measure. Keep us updated on how they hold up. Everyone stay safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Stay safe as well Norm! Get out and enjoy some of this cooler fall weather! 👍🏼
The line laser level looks really good! I also like the floor scrabbler, the tire inflator, and glue gun.
Thanks for sharing mak! Sounds like you have some experience with their tools. Thanks for watching!
Interesting video. There are a lot of tools that can be used for things other than their original purpose. Modifying or trying them in other genres is very satisfying. I’d never thought about using an automotive sander/polisher on woodworking projects, but they would be great to polish the table saw table, jointers, drum sanders, etc which require you to slide wood across smoothly.
I know right! I have an old ryobi car polisher that I think this will replace. I never used that thing on the car, but always used it on finishing for some of my projects. Great point and thanks as always for watching Michael!
I bought a 4 amp hour battery to try on my Makita. It works perfectly. Thanks for the information.
That's great to know Michael! This is probably a great cheaper alternative to the more expensive makita batteries. Thank you so much for sharing! :)
Needing a pin and o-ring for your sockets is the first red flag
Good to know, First time having a impact wrench. Thanks for sharing.
👍love your presentations
You are too kind tom! Thanks for watching!
I may check out the tape measure. I like the display on top and it seems to be very accurate!
Sounds good, thanks so much for watching Jimc!
at $60 that impact is a good deal however, with the current price now being $40 higher at $99 you are better off spending another $30-35 for either the Seesii WH700 OR WH710 Brushless 1/2 impacts, not only are the Seesii impacts the only amazon impacts that actually outpower some of the name brand impact but the torque test channel actually has Seesii impacts out in the field being real world tested by TTC's professional testers like Eric O of the South Main Auto Repair channel and they are holding up to the hard use, plus with the Seesii's you get two 4.0 Ah batteries ......
Awesome! Thanks for sharing abruptlyblunt! Great suggestions!
11-18-2023 listed at $59 and a $5 coupon
Did you verify the compatibility of the batteries with Makita tools? I thought the tape measure was impressive, especially being able to get a measurement from backing it up to a wall or other obstruction.
Great question. I don’t have any makita cordless tools so I wasn’t able to verify that but I have read from many of the reviews that makita is compatible. Thanks for watching!
where do you get the battery adaptors mentioned?
Great question, from my understanding they use the same type battery as makita so any adapter that is set for makita adapting should work

I found their website and looked it over. How do you know that the batteries are Makita compatible? I would not say they have an extensive line of tools. This is something I am more interested in.
Great question. Their website states that their batteries are completely compatible with makita batteries. If you go to the link below and search for makita you will find it.

"I've been gettin' weird late night on the internet..."
I literally said giggity out loud, then you show Quagmire, lol.
Haha! Great minds think alike! 😂
this brand looks pretty good. It's crazy that I've never seen these pop up. i pretty much live on amazon. I guess it just shows how much is really on there.
@@NathanTalbertWoodworking you must not google deep like I do! :) Sometimes I go through 100s of pages just to find new stuff. It's really mind numbing sometimes! :)
Where do i go to find alloyman tools
My suggestion would be amazon.com. I have left some links if the description if you are interested in them! Thanks for watching Tim!
Thanks for another great video! Too bad the tools don't come with a cape and mask!! Blessings!!!
Haha! That would be completely awesome! Thank you for making me crack up outloud!
i guess only question is durability and how long these batteries last, ive seen popoman tools and while they work good out of the box longevity is dismal at best.
Great point greatbay! I'm going to keep an eye on that. I guess if worst comes to worst, I could always replace it with a makita battery. But thanks for bringing this up. very valid point!
Another budget line you might take a look at Bryan is Kimo tools. Iv bought 4 or 5 of their tools and have been very satisfied so far. Not workhorse tools but are fine to supplement my good tools! Another great video Bryan...keep em coming!!
Love this! I have not heard of this brand but you know I'll be looking into it! Thank you so much for sharing, I'll be looking into these tonight! Thanks again, and thanks for watching! John!
OK, but where are these Alloyman Tools made, and how are they purchased? Are they from China? Are they available through Amazon? Details, please.
Great questions Scotty! Yes, and I think yes. They are indeed available on amazon, and I believe they are china made, however the parent company is british I believe. I need to do a little more research on that. Thanks as always for watching!
Another tape measure?? Haha. I'll bet you'll be glad when you get back in your shop. Thanks for another info-taining video.
Haha! You are sooooo correct on that. I was actually in it today, I recorded a short for thursday.... then realized it was way too long to be a short. :(
Oops, you missed on the price of the impact driver. It's listed as $95 via your link.
Thanks so much for sharing that. Keep an eye on it that price moves. I saw it within the last month at around $70. Thank you so much for sharing w9jim. Good catch!
Under the 95$ price is a 15$ off coupon. I know that is only 80$ but Amazon is always doing discounts.
@@tigercat8905 Great catch!
The digital tape measure is very impressive. But the flashing display would make me lose the Will to live 😂
Oh, I put a note on the video, the only reason it flashes is because of the frame rate of my camera. It does not flash at all in person. Kind of like old videos when you would see computer screens. It's very clear and consistent in person.
Ahhhhh! Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification!
And nice coverage of this brand. I wonder what the power tool universe will look like in 2 years with technology advances bringing down prices amidst theChinese penetration in the market. My sense is that Stanley Black and Decker and Chervon (sp?) will be getting a run for their money. At least in the DIY segment. Not certain how durable the more cost effective tools will be over time. We’ll see.
@@gerardbroussard6336 it's one of the problems showing a lot of the screens on youtube. Always seem to flicker!
@@gerardbroussard6336 This is a very valid point. I think the cost reduction in a lot of these tools, along with the increased reliability will be a real challenge for some of the brands we have relied upon for so long. There will definitely be a lot of cheaper alternatives in the future, and that is one my main interests!
Dogg, man, more small stuff that could add up to a beautiful lathe? Come on Dogg, man, there was another $180 that would do better in the lathe purchasing jar. Plus, it looks cold in the garage. Thank you for zipping up, you were driving us crazy. We liked drops 3 and 4 the best.
Oh man don't remind me. For all the money I've spent on these little items I could have a powermatic! I'll make a deal with you. If I get to 15K subsribers by the end of the year, I'll get that Rikon just for you! :) Thanks as always for making me laugh this afternoon Meat!
@@FlynndoggWoodwork You're on. We've been trying. I don't know who wouldn't love the Dogg, man. Now, Powermatic....hmmm. I like it. Get a deal like that Wood Whisper guy whom we can't watch. Keep up the great work.
@@themeat5053 I wonder what happened with him he was rockin the powermtic and titebond all at once. Pretty sweet gig I imagine, especially after seeing all the tools he had in his shop I can only imagine he got them for free!
I'm not a big fan of that pin and rubber band system of holding sockets. I see that pin being lost with the first minutes of unboxing and actual use of the tool, but it doesn't mean the gun is useless. It just means you have to be a little more careful. And for $60.00, who cares that's a screaming deal!!
You know, in reading the comments, I guess I hadn't realized that there were other options for the sockets with the impact wrench. When Filming this video, I kept on dropping that damn pin, and was like, man there must be an easier way!
Dogman, the one thing you did not mention was the origin of the tools. Are they made in China??? I do my best not to buy China made anything if I can help it. Yes, I do have some things made from china usually because there was no other choice. 😢 It must be getting cold up there, I didn't notice your tee shirt, lol. Have a great week. Timothy
Haha! You are sooo correct, it is getting cold up here, I was even checking to see if you could see my breath in the video. Good news is that my shop is done (as of yesterday) so no more struggling in the heat and the cold. Bad news is I have a lot of work to do to even get the barn in a usable condition. I did some research on where these tools were made and I could not get a definitive answer. The parent company I think is english, but I believe they are made in china. It's so hard to feature affordable tools that are manufactured anywhere else than there. I'm keeping my eye out though.
It’s just a rebranded dewalt with makita features
I think that’s a pretty fair analysis. Thanks for watching Clint!
Their are many cheap brands on the market. Most are built by one company and are copies of one of the big brands. It''s very similar to the Hart brand sold at Walmart. If you don't have a big store standing behind them good luck wth replacing a dead tool right out of the box
That's an excellent point, however these tools are available on amazon, and I've never had an issue returning anything with them, however I definitely won't be able to get things same day if somethign dies on me. Thanks for sharing and watching sirwallygator!
What about the shop? the suspense is killing us.
It got done yesterday!!!! I have a video coming out on Tuesday, showing the final product. I'm completely overwhelmed on where to start.... :( Thanks for asking and watching Rod!
riobi is and always has been junk
haha! Well, I don't know if I would go that far, but it definitely is a lighter duty tool. Thanks for watchign Raul!
