- Today, Heather and I hiked PR9 Levada do Caldeirão Verde in Madeira and got to walk through long, dark caves and past so many waterfalls! Then we went to the Fanal Forest and Funchal :)

The next best thing to travelling is watching someone else travelling. (As long as it's not your aunt Edna showing 2354 photos, most of them shaky, over or under exposed, or showing the exactly same thing from the exactly same angle for at least twenty times in a row as they haven't learned to delete pictures yet.) Those drone shots were cool!

Always a bit bittersweet watching people do these hikes as I went to Madeira but I'm not able to hike so I didn't do anything like this. It's a beautiful island though and the filming is great! I loved my stay there (in a hotel right on the beach - so pretty!)

If you like hikes like this one, here in Canary Islands there's one called "Marcos y Cordero" in the island of La Palma which is kind of similar but without that many waterfalls (only a small one at the start). For me it's definitely the prettiest hike I've ever done.
Never even thought about visiting Madeira, and I’ve never heard levadas before, yet this might just be adding something to my bucket list. Just have to be careful with all the drips and spray on my non-waterproof camera gear!
amazing log video from the walking but its must more in that trekking more beautiful go the same levada,,,caldeirao do inferno,but its so dangers to be adventures ,no advice with someoune know the place well,you can gey lost as you carry one fromt the tunes from there one of them is 2km,,,thank you to share your video the enjoy as long time no see that levada myself
