    Nice video. I purchased 2 of these on an early bird special for $279 each which was nice. The app will look at both batteries as a system. Total amp/wattage available etc. There is a setup in the menu. It does this by sampling each battery every few seconds. This enables you to look at the batteries as a system or look at individual performance. I used these batteries on my TT and they fit great in the existing battery boxes.

    This battery is rated to 1280w/h... This inverter according to Victron has a Max. efficiency 87% (12v model) .... meaning that at max we should have: 1113,6w/h... your result gave 1033 which is a 80% efficiency..... now the question is...: 7% lost.... where? game of advertisement where the 87% happens only in perfect conditions for only 1 minute? and the rest of the time is around 80% or bellow? Other question: can we trust your meter (accuracy) ? Anyway, I give you a big thumbs up for the shared information with us. It is helping me making some decisions....

      I don’t think the inverter was giving 87%. Doing the straight dc discharge test you could see I got over the rated 100ah capacity, so I’m thinking that Victron inverter is not quite as efficient as I thought it was.

    Those look like a good battery option, since they include both low-temp charging protection and a bluetooth connection option. I wouldn't buy two of them at that price, unless I was going to use them for distinctly separate roles. They are about $120 more than Li-Time's standard, small form-factor, 100ah, LFP battery, so close to $250 more, for two of them. For that much of a price difference, I would purchase a quality shunt, which is going to give you a more reliable SOC than the BMS and bluetooth connection. When it comes to low-temp charging protection, it is possible to achieve that in other ways, and isn't nearly as big a deal as some make it out to be.

    just ordered one today for rv, I have a lead acid battery right now, by replacing with this one and using lights and water pump and normal use like we always do will this battery last longer than the group 24 lead acid battery i have on now? Thanks they have a great sale right now I got mine for $285 with veterans discount and sale they are having. Love your channels!

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  Před měsícem +1

      Yes, will last much longer. Lead acid you can only use 1/2 of the capacity. With lifepo4 you can use virtually all of the capacity without damaging the cells

    Can you explain how to jump start this battery after the BMS has shut down due to full discharge.

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  Před 2 měsíci +2

      You can connect it up to any other 12v battery to “wake it up” just like jump starting a car.

    Good day.
    After fully charging my battery, the voltage drops to 13V in 2 days, and to 12.90V in 5 days. But when the battery is connected to 200W for 1 minute, the voltage is 13.39V and it stays like that all day?
    Is this normal or not a battery problem.

    Kinda funny, that in parallel the other battery doesn't show in app. I've got a different brand 24V 50Ah times 2, and when I connect them in parallel they both show up in the app and tell me every parameter I want from a battery under load. They are twice the price though, approximately same watthours, the 24V ones have a bit more than these Li Time ones.

    Can someone please help me with this queation? I want to get two litime batteries, but i wonder if you connect them in series, do both need bluetooth or is one enough? (they react as one batterie, right?? So they should match, right???) THANKS up front

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  Před měsícem +1

      Yes, they have updated their app now so if you connect 2 batteries you only need one of the Bluetooth

    Great video. I just purchased 3 of these for my Minn Kota ulterra trolling motor . I’m going to hook them up in series for 36 volts . I was wondering if my boats 3 bank onboard charger would charge these to 100% . It’s definitely a newer charger as my boats a 2020 model . I could give you details but it’s still shrink wrapped for a few more weeks . It was time to switch from the lead acid batteries. Thanks new subscriber here .

      Thanks👍🏻 your charger will have to have a lifepo4 setting, or be able to output up to 14.6v to fully charge lifepo4 batteries.

    If you don't plan on using your lithium battery for a few months what percentage of power do you recommend storing it at?

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I store mine around 75% and check on them about 3 months

    So I live up in Canada and I want a system for my truck that can run and charge during the winter months ... is it safe to say I should stay with a deep cycle amg system and stay away from the lipro4 altogether?

    • @uhjyuff2095
      @uhjyuff2095 Před 5 měsíci +2

      maybe get a lithium battery with heat function. That way when you go to charge and its super cold out in your truck the battery will heat itself above freezing and work like normal.

    1033 watt hours is more than "a hair shy" of 1280 watt hours, don't you think??
