    I just got the Bluetooth with low temp protection. It’s pretty gnarly.

    Good day.
    After fully charging my battery, the voltage drops to 13V in 2 days, and to 12.90V in 5 days. But when the battery is connected to 200W for 1 minute, the voltage is 13.39V and it stays like that all day?
    Is this normal or not a battery problem.

      Do you have an inverter powered on an connected to the battery? That drop would be normal if you have a powered on inverter because it draws some current while sitting idle. But what does not make sense is that if you use 200W for 1 minute, the voltage does not drop over time. Something does not seem right about that. Without knowing more, it seems that something may drawing power from the battery. But if nothing is drawing power, then it might be a defective battery. I've not had a defective battery or a battery acting strangely yet. So I don't have a lot of experience with troubleshooting battery issues.

      @@proficientprepper Thank you for your answer.
      Exactly, the battery behaves suspiciously (there is a gradual voltage drop) when the battery is charged and nothing is connected to it.
      The seller wrote that this is the protection of BMS. But nothing is said about this on ebay.

    Can I use the litime 12v 100ah trolling motor battery for trolling motor and starting the boat motor ?

      @proficientprepper  Před 2 měsíci

      I don't believe these batteries are meant to be starting boat motors or cars.

    Can the Group 24 replace an existing Group 27? Any specific reason why not?

    • @proficientprepper
      @proficientprepper  Před 6 měsíci

      Regarding the physical size, A Group 24 battery should be slightly smaller. So I believe it should work fine as a replacement for a group 27 battery. But my understanding is that group 27 batteries are intended more for higher current loads. So you just need to figure out how much current you plan to be drawing from the battery. The LiTime group 24 battery I reviewed is intended for a continuous draw of 100 amps and a spike of up to 280 amps for 5 seconds. If you need higher than that, then I would stick with a group 27 battery. Oh, and these LiFePO4 batteries can be used in freezing conditions, but should not be charged in freezing conditions.

      That is helpful. My continuous draw needs in my small travel trailer are minimal and the 24 will fit much better than the 27 allowing more room for the shunt and solar cable. I ordered it yesterday and it seems like a great deal, only about $70 more than an AGM.

      LiTime does not do that. I have seen a different brand that did.
