@@Marksman Exactly, I'm just keeping my expectations to a minimum, I've loved COD since I started playing BO2, and after getting a taste of no SBMM in XDefiant, I'm not sure if I can ever go back to COD, and I'm a SND lover just like you. But as every COD player as said I'll give this one a shot.
I hate to be that guy, but all of these new and returning features are irrelevant if sbmm/eomm and the current anti cheat remain unchanged.
Also being an invincible monster with omni movement works great in a 3rd person game like Max Payne 3… but for an FPS I’m afraid playing against real ppl with this will be unbearable for many 🤣🤣

The best feeling when prestiging in the older CoDs were the extra classes as a reward. Felt hella good having 10 classes
I hope they bring back the prestige tokens where you can permanently unlock a single weapon or perk

Probably will but to me that's why I think the whole system is dumb and antiquated. After a couple prestige you generally can unlock whatever 2 essentials are at high level then get 10 to 15 levels for the rest and then you're back to playing max level CoD for the next 95% of your prestige.
Just might as well display time played instead of level or total points earned.

I love the direction they appear to be going. The only thing I wish they’d do is giving the COD releases an additional year between releases so the lifespans of these games are at least 2 years.

I hope omni movement is something you can always do and doesn't have long cooldowns, or any cooldowns really.
Lol cause it will be what? "Diving sideways on cooldown for 5 more seconds"? But I can still dive forward? This isn't an MMO, only thing with a "cooldown" might be sprinting but just like normal super printing.
Why would Omni movement have a cooldown, especially if they didn't mention it? 0% chance and you shouldn't worry about it.

How did the maps feel? Not looking for any details on specific maps just an overall, were they generally good?
When you were taking about the dynamic camera for deaths, does it stay in first person as you die, or is more of a switch to 3rd person
I honestly think this is where I call it for CoD. Movement was always my weakness and the games have been steadily becoming more movement based. Just gets harder and harder to keep up these days.

They do this for the players who got tired of the exact same movement in each game and refreshes everyone to something new.
I just hope the omni directional movement isn't as busted as the movement in XDefiant is rn. People are abusing it and there is absolutely zero downside. So hopefully it's like you said and your accuracy is worse or something to balance it. And you also shouldn't be able to spam it.
It'll be interesting once people have time to master the movement. Gotta wait and see really.

Brother I spend 15-20 days a year on 1 game that costs me $70, I want it to be the best game possible and I'm always happy for a new FPS game, even when it's not CoD. I've enjoyed The Finals Terminal Attack mode and waiting on XDefiant 1 life mode now too.

Other content creators described the 2 zombie maps being round based.. 1 is like a Cold War zombie map, the other is like a bo2/bo3 type of zombie map. Super excited for this.

my only question is, and this is a big one. is do we get to either 1. keep our cold war camos/stuff we bought in that game or are they finally merging everything from mw3? because i would like to see things we bought in these games carried over from the previous games. if not from the franchise so like when the new Modern Warefare game comes out itll give us our MW3 stuff. so are they doing the same thing in BO6 or are they starting fresh with BO6 and then in lets say BO7 itll carry over?

@marksman been playing cod for a long time the only thing that worry’s me is that the new movement will over complicate gameplay for controller player thoughts ?
A few things i want to say about BO6. First off. Great were finally having a SET zombies cast. Which (hopefully) gives us the classic zonbies weird dioluge and not the bland military callout dialouge like, zombie kia, or marking mystery box. Hopefully they say some weird and in-character stuff because thats how as a zonbies community were we able to connect and learn about the zombies cast was through what they would say in the maps.
The omno-movement from what ive seen (?played?) Is almost a one to one copy of Helldivers 2 Movement.
Including the dive any direction and shoot whilst diving. Including the dynaimc prone where your charcater will shimmy on their back while aiming or on their side unless the terrian prevents such an action.
Hostage taking is... iffy to say the least. If your grabbed you are abke to break out of it, but the person taking you hostage can "Stop" your struggle by either you taking damage or "other means"
The problem being is that you can also "Toss" them. They wont die but its like you getting rid of them. And how it works is that its kind of like them diving away from you but you have the decision as to where. So you can potentially throw people off maps. Problem being is that if you break out, the game will automatically swith you to your secondary and you wont be facing them. Becauae their is a simple let go button. But they might aswell kill you. Unless idk the taker forgets your existence the moment they let you go.
Also when taken as a hostage your health is actually increased to about 2 and a half of normal. So 150% more health. Because what the game will essentially do is make you somewhat change teams to allow your teamates to damage you. As well as make you a higher priority target to splash based damage depednibg on the angle. So in a sense a human EOD.
Theres also slight dynamic environemnts. Sort of a mix of R6S and COD ghost. In a sense the map can change like flood, get gassed, re-direct player movement, or simply change esthetics. But it can go on as players being able to blow up walls with gernades. Blast open certain doors for new ways to engage or blow up someones cover. Very basic things.
Well I’m just gonna go for all prestiges in the game, it’s good to hear this stuff but I need to see gameplay when the open beta is out I’m still debating if I should get it or not.

The omni direction prone movement and animation should be like battlefield V where you can lay on your back while prone and crab walk backwards using your legs to push back. The hostile escape and features should be like battlefield 4 where you can hit a quick time and counter an assassination attempt.

Does the game feel different than say MW2 and MW3? I know they are built on the same engine to make porting over content to WZ easier but I would love to see the different studios to have a different feel to their games like they have had in the past. I know that MW3 is different than MW2 but it still feels the same. Just like an upgrade rather than something new. Just curious what you can say if your allowed too.
