It's Fine If You Don't Throw All Your Fizzbangs. It Might Even Be Optimal.

#splatoon3 #splatfest #fizzbangs
Remember, the game says we can HOLD more Fizzbangs, not THROW more Fizzbsngs
I always throw the fizzbangs into the unreachable part of the enemy base at the end
Also a good option of you run out of ink in the last few seconds
These things felt like more of combo tool than a paint tool. Also worth mentioning, u can throw them on an empty ink tank, so they can be useful in that situation as well
Typically only throwing fizzbangs either as a distraction, trap, or if I can't reach the area with my main nor sub weapon. If I have to use fizzbangs instead of my main/sub/special during the last second of turf war, then I did not plan appropriately for the situation. They really don't do much aside from look pretty, which honestly... goals.
With loadouts without damaging secondaries they can be thrown to areas you can't really reach... Like the spawn of the other pair for Tricolor if they decide to NOT paint their spawn zone.
I agree with the points that Gem makes in this video. Fizzbangs just aren't always a great option for painting. But this doesn't mean fizzbangs aren't completely without application. While it's not great for weapons like the splattershot, it does work well for weapons like an explosher or a blaster. In general, weapons with slower fire rates have an easy time combo-ing that damage to frequently one-shot opponents with their main weapon, making use of the delay to ensure they are in range at the right time. And since your fizzbangs go to the opponent that splats you, you're giving those opponents an advantage in fights if you die with them. So while it's fine to ignore your fizzbangs at the end of the round, where any kills will have very little relevance, you should be careful around enemies that manage to paint slower than fizzbangs, because they might exploit your earnings. In any fight where you might lose your fizzbangs (not counting the very end of the round), What I recommend is simply throwing the fizzbangs around when you're skirmishing since you won't want be hitting your opponent too much anyways.
Ah, but is not throwing it as fun as throwing it?
That sounds like someone on the opposing team would say
I think it is situational. Weapon. Position. Enemy ink coverage quantity and pattern. Etc.
I ran hydra this splatfest, and it at least
Tbh I only ever throw like 2 fizzbangs a match at most. They just don't do anything meaningful.
Workable if you don't have enough ink, or, in a case where your main weapon has a long wind up like Dynamo or Painbrush. Ain't gonna finish that wind up before the time stops you and then you don't put down any ink at all, might as well Fizzbang.
literally forget i have fizzbangs until somebody else starts throwing them in the middle of the match because they too just remembered they had them, or the "We can hold more fizzbangs" message pops up.
I think the fizzbangs are good at pushing if you use a short range weapon since they force the enemy to move but dont consume ink so you can still shoot
What I typically do is in the last seconds of a match throw them if you’re out of ink or using a weapon that needs to charge up (i.e. charger/splatlings) for effective painting
That Ramen stage was great for tri color
Also note that throwing a bunch of fizzbangs at once leaves you super vulnerable with how long it's going to take to access your weapon again.
as a dynamo main, i love throwing these at the end, as they are faster than a normal fling usually
But the fizzbangs are designed to be thrown at the end of the match so matches end in a huge festive fireworks show 🤓
