Coral Bay Strip Opened By The President!

- Today Coral Bay Strip revealed itself to the waiting public for the first time since being renovated. I was there with the camera to take in the scene. Amazingly, all the trees had arrived since Thursday. There is still a bit of landscaping to finish and the odd snag, but it was a pleasure to walk up. See for yourself!
NB: contrary to what I said at the end of the film the Strip is not yet open for vehicles. There must have been a last-minute hitch.

►Help For Travellers
If you are travelling around Paphos and would like some hints about where to go, take a look at our eBook Travel Guides.
▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

▬ Kato and Pano Pyrgos ▬
Do you want to see a part of Cyprus that is loved by the locals but virtually unkown to international tourists? Then let me take you on a trip to Kato and Pano Pyrgos. Located on the North Coast of Cyprus, and on the coast road from Polis and Pomos, these two villages are packed full of charm and some lovely beaches. Throw in some abandoned villages and beautiful countryside, and you have all the makings of a fantastic day out. In this guide we show you how to get there from Paphos and Polis, before taking you on a tour of the area itself

▬ The North Paphos Coast ▬
The North Coast of Paphos is one of Cyprus' hidden gems. In this, our fourth Cyprus Road Trip eBook, we explore the area between Polis and Pachyammos. This includes the delightful Pomos Harbour, the mysterious Dragon Cave Beach, and the ancient Gialia Monastery. Not to mention numerous villages, churches and reservoirs. So come with us and experience a slice of authentic Cyprus life.

▬ Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni ▬
The East of Cyprus is famous for its sandy beaches and party lifestyle, but there is so much more to it than that. In this road trip we take you around Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni. We also visit Cape Greco and numerous beaches along the way, as well as other interesting attractions. We even have time to take in the new Marina. The route is circular, beginning and ending at the Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa. If you are based in Protaras or Paralimni you can start in those towns and jump to the appropriate point. We do however recommend coming to the Sculpture Park and starting there, as it is best viewed either in the morning or evening.

what a day in Coral Bay strip and park open by President ,he seems like a super star thank you Nick
We were there 6 weeks ago didn't think they would have strip finished so quickly.
Looks amazing well done to all.
Thank you for all the updates the drone shots were outstanding.
Hopefully see it in the flesh in October
It looks fantastic Dominic, thank you for sharing with us! Great to see the President too 😍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! Totally different, super cool! Thanks for sharing, not sure when I`ll be able to visit it again!
Wow what a difference from 4 weeks ago thank you Dominic great video 👍🏻👍🏻xxx
Well done dom. Another great video. You have made it so good to watch all the work they have done. Keep up the good work ❤😎👏👏👏👏👏👍
Glad you enjoyed them.
As I've written before: It's a shame they didn't make it a pedestrian street. Your video clearly shows how wonderful it would have been when it becomes high season. But It's good anyway!
It is looking great and much different from our last visit in 2022. It is strange to see people walking along the road with no traffic.
Do you know if the President stopped to buy any souvenirs in the gift shops? 😄
Too busy kissing babies!
Looking good 👍🇨🇾💕
🤙
Thanks again for a great video Dominic👍👏
You are most welcome!
Love you Cyprus ❤❤🥹🥹
Another fabulous video Dominic I've really enjoyed your journey documenting the progress of the strip. We will be returning to our happy place in Peyia in September and can't wait to visit our favourite restaurants including Les Amis and La Vigna. Do you know yet if parking is going to be available on the strip itself or behind the restaurants? Either way they have made a brilliant job so please pass on our appreciation when next you speak to the engineers.
😎 🌞
There are a few on street parking places and lots round the back.
Great to see it open at last! Can you ask whether those orange bollards are permanent because the white ones at the top are so much nicer.
No they aren't.
Any new restaurants or just same ones
Good old same ones...
