@Matthew Shrubsole Uh,excuse me,I'm American and she's annoying the fuck out of me as well.Nor do I expect visitors from other countries to kowtow to the US flag or join in the national anthem or whatever on the Fourth of July.I'm well aware that Americans can be obnoxious or clueless,or arrogant or all three.It's a great big country with a great big military,that can go to your head.Its also a very YOUNG country,by the standards of most of Europe,Africa,Asia and a lot of South America.Countries do have growing pains.They need time to mature.If they don't self-destruct first ☹️
Also,hitting your spouse or parent can get you sent to jail on assault charges,in the US.Is it ok to lay violent hands on your loved ones for any reason other than self-defense,in your neck of the woods?
My Dear old Mum's gone now but even as a 40 year old man with grown up kids of my own, if I took that tone with her she would have grabbed me by the ear and dragged me home by it.
