As a father if 2, one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen was my wife breastfeeding our kids after they were born. She breast fed both of them until they were just over 2yrs. Every time i would sit and watch in amazement and pride(i dont know another word for it). I loved every second of it. Even the 12, 2, and 4am wake ups early on for night feedings. Not only is breast feeding good for antibodies, it also promotes brain development. Babies brains can only understand basic stimuli like touch, smell and sound. The brain is like a muscle, you have to stimulate it or it won't grow, even if the child has no memory of it later. Even a simple thing like listening to a mother's heartbeat makes a difference.

In many cases, a doctor supports the woman giving birth by quite literally holding the infant coming out (classic hospital stuff), which usually involves glaring directly at her expanding lower region. That's what we also got ppl like gynocologists for and other roles etc.
To be honest I'm more blown away by the patience and the calm his wife is demonstrating, because if I was her I would have given up the second he mentioned about the breastfeeding part, especially right after finishing pregnancy.
My wife and I just had our first child. She was so excited to breast feed but within a week she stopped producing milk and we had to go on straight formula. It makes her feel useless as a mom. The fact that this dude acted this way to the mother of his child who is already going through a lot is psychotic. Having a healthy child and being able to breast feed it is a blessing that you need to be thankful for.
My wife and I have 2 kids, 3 and 2 now. She always wanted to breast feed, and she tried and tried and tried. But she just never had milk, or enough milk. She couldn't even pump out more than 1oz after I bought a plug in pump. She was depressed and cried because she felt the same way as your wife. Both kids had formula since they were born but only as a necessity. We both (her mostly obviously for the bonding, but me because I know she would have felt much better about herself at the time) missed out on that beautiful stage raising our children. But the kids are the greatest blessings we've ever had.
That is so sad she feels useless. 😢 Many moms struggle with milk production. I hope she can accept that it isn't her fault and it is not a reflection on her as a mother.

This can't be the only abusive moment in this relationship. At first I(f. 56yr married for 34yrs) found myself angry at the mother/wife for not being more assertive in defending her actions. Then it began to dawn on us she is most likely so emotionally abused she thinks her husband's behaviour is normal. Our hearts are with her and her children.

the "until you heal" comment makes me think she did have a c-section. vaginal birth requires healing too but it's typically a lot easier on your body and you can do more things. having a large incision in your abdomen have to heal, that requires a lot more help and from what i've heard from women that have had it both ways they could go it alone after a vaginal birth but when you've had a c-section you can't even stand up straight and you are told not to carry anything heavier than your baby, so no carrying the baby in a car seat, can't leave the house alone with the baby. it's just a lot harder in that way as well as just on your body in general it takes a lot more to "bounce back" after a c-section birth than a vaginal birth. if she had to have one (a c-section) i really hope it's just because it was necessary and not because he made her. it just gets sadder the more you think about it. when a woman ends up with a man like this it's typically because they've been abused before in life and the man can sense that, so goes after women like this because they are easier to control. i hope he never gets to be in these kids' lives. i hope this woman and her kids get everything he has, and i also hope that she finds a man to have in her boys' lives to be a role model for them. someone who is nothing like their despicable excuse of a "father" i would go as far to say there could be abuse of not only the mother, but her sons too. you can just tell this man is dangerous and it's making me feel physically sick to my stomach. i wish her and her sons the best, they deserve it after putting up with this "man." also for the record, the colostrum you make right after your baby is born, is extremely important especially for a premature baby (she said he was early) they call it "liquid gold" for a reason. it's packed with everything a newborn needs, so it's very important the baby at least gets some of this special first milk. also being that her baby is not having latch issues, and latches really well so that it's even easier than pumping, tells me she should definitely keep breastfeeding her child for the baby's health. that's a blessing because a lot of babies especially preemies, have trouble latching, staying latched, etc.

My wife and I just had our first child. She was so excited to breast feed but within a week she stopped producing milk and we had to go on straight formula. It makes her feel useless as a mom. The fact that this dude acted this way to the mother of his child who is already going through a lot is psychotic. Having a healthy child and being able to breast feed it is a blessing that you need to be thankful for.
My wife and I have 2 kids, 3 and 2 now. She always wanted to breast feed, and she tried and tried and tried. But she just never had milk, or enough milk. She couldn't even pump out more than 1oz after I bought a plug in pump. She was depressed and cried because she felt the same way as your wife. Both kids had formula since they were born but only as a necessity. We both (her mostly obviously for the bonding, but me because I know she would have felt much better about herself at the time) missed out on that beautiful stage raising our children. But the kids are the greatest blessings we've ever had.
That is so sad she feels useless. 😢 Many moms struggle with milk production. I hope she can accept that it isn't her fault and it is not a reflection on her as a mother.
Mom’s are good for way more than just milk! Babies enjoy the comfort of their mother (sometimes much more than the father as I’ve come to experience on many occasions)

This can't be the only abusive moment in this relationship. At first I(f. 56yr married for 34yrs) found myself angry at the mother/wife for not being more assertive in defending her actions. Then it began to dawn on us she is most likely so emotionally abused she thinks her husband's behaviour is normal. Our hearts are with her and her children.

Part of me, hopes people are able to find this woman so that way she can receive support and possibly financial help, since she deserves it after having to deal with this guy. She needs to be told she’s not crazy and this man is a monster. I would hate to think she’s blaming herself for her marriage falling apart. But at the same time, I fear if the Internet finds her it would do more harm than good.

I work with divorce attorneys and you really do see another level of type of crazy with these divorces. It’s like “this psycho got married despite all of this?!”

Seems like he was, ppl are saying they looked into it amd it seems like her second child was conceived during marital rape. She is safe now amd seems to have some kind of restraining order against him, so that’s something at least. Hoping she heals amd lives peacefully amd joyfully.

I was a student teaching assistant for a little while and the class I was helping had a kid named Gunner, who had two brothers named Hunter and Forest, I wish I was making that up.
the "until you heal" comment makes me think she did have a c-section. vaginal birth requires healing too but it's typically a lot easier on your body and you can do more things. having a large incision in your abdomen have to heal, that requires a lot more help and from what i've heard from women that have had it both ways they could go it alone after a vaginal birth but when you've had a c-section you can't even stand up straight and you are told not to carry anything heavier than your baby, so no carrying the baby in a car seat, can't leave the house alone with the baby. it's just a lot harder in that way as well as just on your body in general it takes a lot more to "bounce back" after a c-section birth than a vaginal birth. if she had to have one (a c-section) i really hope it's just because it was necessary and not because he made her. it just gets sadder the more you think about it. when a woman ends up with a man like this it's typically because they've been abused before in life and the man can sense that, so goes after women like this because they are easier to control. i hope he never gets to be in these kids' lives. i hope this woman and her kids get everything he has, and i also hope that she finds a man to have in her boys' lives to be a role model for them. someone who is nothing like their despicable excuse of a "father" i would go as far to say there could be abuse of not only the mother, but her sons too. you can just tell this man is dangerous and it's making me feel physically sick to my stomach. i wish her and her sons the best, they deserve it after putting up with this "man."
also for the record, the colostrum you make right after your baby is born, is extremely important especially for a premature baby (she said he was early) they call it "liquid gold" for a reason. it's packed with everything a newborn needs, so it's very important the baby at least gets some of this special first milk. also being that her baby is not having latch issues, and latches really well so that it's even easier than pumping, tells me she should definitely keep breastfeeding her child for the baby's health. that's a blessing because a lot of babies especially preemies, have trouble latching, staying latched, etc.
