Ive been in this situation so much and im always looked at as weird for not accepting. It got so bad i quit trying to date because every guy wanted me talk otp with him literally minutes after finding them on the dating site.
I think it’s weird too tbh, why don’t you just call? I personally feel like they’re catfishing me if I can’t even hear their voice. And it’s like, I want to go on a date. Like, in person. And I can’t even hear their voice? Genuinely asking.
This girl was way too pushy though. I ask, “call?” And if they give an excuse, I accept it and ask again later. If they keep finding excuses and make no effort to set up a time, or if they just say “no I’m not comfortable,” I take it as they aren’t serious about dating, and they just want someone to text. And I move on. That’s the type of person who ghosts you, imo.

Charlie kinda just glossed over it by saying:
"He says 'right at the top'" and then moving on but never addressed what that could mean or what the screenshot the supposed man sent was. It's quite clear that "Sadie" is the blue text and the one who took the screenshot and then sent it in their chat, not the person who posted the logs. So either they are both women, the man is named "Sadie" (unlikely), or the person who posted the logs is actually a man and the person begging for a call is the woman. I'm gonna guess they are both women, just from the way the OP/poster of the logs types but they could potentially be a man, who knows.

this literally just happened to me not too long ago and I mean it kept getting worse and worse and i was so hesitant to block him cuz i felt like he was maybe just lonely until he brought up how he thought it was funny to hurt people and what not and then the obsessive texts and calls happened and we had only known each other for like 15 mins and he kept asking me super personal questions so finally a friend convinced me to block him and that was the worst two days in my life i have spent talking to someone and i hope no one else goes through this

Tell them you're going to do something.

I struggle with loneliess, social anxiety, carrying on conversation and such. So, its frustrating to see seemingly decent people who just want to talk and connect have to go through the wringer of weirdo creeps like this. It's tough enough without these assholes. Genuine, fulfilling relationships of any sort (friend, family, romantic, etc.) are truly priceless. Having this degrading perspective of seeing others as things to be used or consciously ignoring very obvious boundaries can be so damaging to the person on the other end.
I just hope the person who posted all this is alright. They seem sweet.

I have a recent boyfriend that called me repeatedly recently because i hadnt messaged back, but then they quickly apologized and said how it was over the line to do that. I got a boyfriend recently too, he was so over the top at first (in a good way not an insult) trying to buy me stuff and hang out with me like everyday. These are all really nice things but I explained boundaries cause we both haven’t had a proper relationship before. We’ve been together for about 2 months now and things are working really well. But trying to hang out with someone everyday or calling them heaps is overwhelming to anyone. If you express how you feel to the other person letting them know you’re flattered but you are unfortunately busy/need space/need time to get your social battery back. It’s valid. The only negative thing is if someone keeps pressing for you and ignoring your boundaries, and making you feel bad for it. Those are the red flags. Everyone is excited when they first start a relationship, but if they hold it against you or try to belittle you they’re not capable of being in a healthy relationship and it’s good to leave.
TLDR// respect your partner’s boundaries, even if you’re eager for their attention and time early days sometimes relationships just need time and people need to take things slowly. If someone doesn’t respect your boundaries they aren’t ready for a relationship.
