sound test between 900 and panorama 3 is not relevant anymore,b&w released few firmware updates and sounds , much better now..also treble need adjusting in panorama 3,set on 0 is bit muffuled around +3,+4 sound very similar to 900 both great soundbars
I feel like the sound tests were with standard audio, I've heard giving the panorama Dolby Atmos music totally transforms the bar to sound much better than the Bose 900. In terms of non Atmos the Bose 900 will do it better.

Typical Bose unfortunately (all boomy and treble, no midrange) and the B&W sounds very disappointing indeed given the brands heritage. For TV and gaming, I could see why Bose would be a smarter choice indeed.
You're not very smart. When the bose 900 is paired with the bose 700 bass module, it BLOWS AWAY THE panorama 3. If you had an ounce of intelligence, you'd understand that fact.
@Floyd1504 i feel you I have a 5.1 setup in my appartment with Denon reciever. My parents have a soundbar but the key to it was getting the subwoofer! Maybe the bose 900 woth the small subwoofer would sound good or its not about the bass?

The Bowers sounded muffled whereas the Bose was clear. Not meaning to be a troll, but people that have purchased the Bowers have rated two stars.
Your sound tests are the best on the internet. Keep them coming. This Bose 900 sound bar seems to be the best for clarity. It's so crisp.

you forgot to talk about the Bose and the 2 phase guide speakers that are located right the to the further woofer and each side.

B&W is so much better than Bose. B&W Panorama 3 is a "audiophile" soundbar. Bose 900 is a "high end" soundbar.
