- Mariposario de Benalmádena is the largest butterfly park in Europe! The park is inside a Thai temple with more than 1,500 butterflies, plus art & educational information so it is a great place to bring the kids! You will be able to observe how they are born, how they reproduce and enjoy learning many things about these wonderful insects. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in Malaga!

We have the same butterfly's in santa Barbara California, when I was young I had a net and would run around after them, my neighbor from New Zealand thought I was crazy, the recently born ones from the cacoons will fly away further and further away to water.
