I was never that into Creed Aventus batch hunting and didn't understand the whole batch variations at Creed... until now. I was fortunate to get my hands on some older batches so I can really disect the differences and let you know of the changes in Creed Aventus throughout the lifespan of this fragrance. People go on and on about the pineapple, but its the smokyness that made it magical.
I got myself a bottle in 2011, and it was completely insane how many compliments i would get.
I couldnt walk into a store, without getting a compliment, and on more than one occation, this stuff alone, got me laid.
Seriously. I didnt even say a word, and this chick smelled, said i looked good and pushed me into a taxi.
Now, im completely lost. The new batches are weak and feel watered down. The clones are close but they dont get the smoke 100%.

I have a 21 batch and the pineapple is insane very good not so smoky
Easy solution: layer CDNIM edt with the pure parfum. The parfum is smokier and the edt fruitier.
Keep it in ice freezer section for 5 continuous days and after that always store in regular refrigerator temperature upon use
Nice review man. I always wanted to try 13zz01, I own 16d01 do you think theyâre similar? Iâm trying to find some 13zz01.
I have 13zz01 it a 9/10 I had 13Q01 that better in my opinion then 13zz01

1. Do you understand that smell can variat in same batch/bottle depends on when you spray it. Same bottle in first month can go more on fruits and 6 months later after maceration it goes completely opposite on smoke and musk side.
So what is it now?
Fruity or smoky or musky batch...
I currently have 30 ml of 13zz01 and itâs amazing I had 13Q01 and that one is my favorite batch itâs super Smokey and dry down is well balanced. I had a 2010 batch it was like a barbecue smell but the dry down was solid abs well. The 2019 and up are extra fruity low projection low longevity and could of synthetic. I recommend people to invest in a 2015 or 2015 those are the most balanced one not smoke but itâs solid to me I rather buy those batches produce those years.
The smoky batches were absolutely amazing. Such a shame it's nothing like that now.

i have batch f213 performance very good, i still can smell after 8 hr on air, decant 10ml let it macerate.. month or 2 you should try.
I have three bottles and store them like wine.. get more musky woodyâŠCitrus is still there, even after a couple of years..
Batches also come down to the fact older batches as years past they lose the top notes what happens is. when u smell an old batch today you will get the middle note first then base. But if you smelled that same old batch in the year it came out it will not smell like what it smell today.

2 months ago when I started my robbie I was thinking buy aventus I never smelled aventus before and review on CZcams says new aventus batch is not good. I bought aventus sample and I decided to buy club de Nuit intense Man instead aventus. I love the cdnim. Thinking buy hacivat instead aventus. BTW your review is 100%đ
That's a great choose to be honest. CDNIM is still very close to Aventus and so, so much cheaper. Hacivat is much greener/woodier than Aventus but a lot stronger đȘ
Cdnim doesnât have the smokiness that aventus does. Other than that itâs a good scent đđŒ

Modern batches smell nothing like the vintage ones. They're a shadow of its former self. They still smell great but the vintage batches are the greatest. OGs are way richer and has better body. More complex as well. Modern ones are more fruit-forward.
Agreed. Loved smelling the older Aventus Batches for this video. I have a full bottle from 2017 and it's not much better than my 2021 bottle though. I loved the 2014/2016 batches

Indeed. Though 2015 batches onwards also smell different from the smoky batches of 2010-2013. Those first 3-4 years are what we call the 'true Aventus' because that's what Aventus should really smell like.
If you've smelled the 2011 batches especially 11Z01 and 11X02 you'll be blown away. Those two are what we call the 'Batch' and those two made Aventus 'The King'. 13Z01 and 13ZZ01 are grails as well, but no batch can ever touch 11Z01 and 11X02. God in liquid form.

Why is nobody talking of the 120 ml bottles currently being sold on fragrance x? They were supposedly discontinued on 2017 so the question is, are they good? If they're good ill grab one without blinking

It all drives me crazy đ i have the magnificent X02 which i find just as good if not better than Z01 because itâs more pineappley
I didn't realize how big the differences were until I prepared for this video. It's crazy how many differences there are. I really enjoyed the batches with the stronger pineapple đ
The Z01 is actually the more pineapple-y one. Z01 is the pineapple bomb of vintage. X02 is more smoky.
20H01N is mine just bought in Dubai any feed backs regarding that?

That is a really good batch. You may be nose blind to it which is common. Others can probably smell it on you for 6-8 hours.

I just purchased an Aventus Creed and the lot no is: L4221X01 B. As I've been reading online, it shouldn't be wrapped in cellophane but this one it is. The thing is that I purchased it from a luxury store here in Athens, Greece. Could you please help? Is is genuine or not? Thank you!
I dont know since when exactly it happend but i also saw in stores here in germany that creed fragrances are wrapped in cellophane. Its legit.. iâd rather Check the top under the spray cap. If its white its a real bottle.
Yes it's real..I have a 2024 and they all.havr cellophane ..clear lettering, metal cap and my batch is f000913..so no worries ..enjoy

I think the flavors may not be the best bargain.
Just purchased a L4221T01 aventus from creed boutique in neimens.
Went through 30 boxes same Batch codes. Should I return it or see if it developes? Itâs a straight pineapple bomb

Longevity is not great on me - around 5 hours and it's gone. Smells lovely though. Big bottle I got from Creed in France

Great video!! Huge question. Just received my first Creed Aventus. Itâs weird because the lettering is clear. The cap is plastic. The batch code is creed aventus L4222CO1B.
From what I understand the 2022 batches come with the clear lettering but with the black metal cap. If anyone can help me confirm if itâs legit or fake. So I can return it. Thank you

It's real the new batches have totally different numbers..I have a 2034 purchase ans mine is F000913 .metal cap clear lettering ...mine is balanced pineapple blast and smokeyb
I have tried batches from 2012-2021, and I hated the vintage batches until 2013. that disgusting, obnoxious bbq smell of 13Q02 made it unwearable, I hated it. 12C01 was better, but still not to my liking.
I personally LOVE 2019 batches (pre reform), with 19S41 being the best one, reminiscent of 16J01 which was my first bottle, but more fruity. My lifetime backup consists of only 19 batches, and hopefully Iâm good for life!

I had my first aventus in 2019, by far the best fragrance i ever had. I also had two later Ones which were far worse. Now i could get decants of the 2017 or 2019 one. Which would you pick?

@@visionaryfragrances I Started with a 2017..and omg..it was Glorious..I loved it..It was a 4oz. I killed it and got a 2019 and omg..I bought from Regular and I honestly thought I had a fake..it last horrible...now that it's 2022 it has aged some..it last a little better..what I do is use some pineapple vintage intense gold under it which is actually very good..and really helps..of course it's not that cheap either but not Creed..I do have a Back up 100ml of 2020 aventus in the closet of one of the batches some of the boards said creed was getting it right again..dunno..never opened it..

Creed has already acknowledged batch variations. Check their Aventus video here on CZcams.
The "vintage" batches are overrated. I've tried dozens of batches from 2011 thru 2021. And while I admit there are small,nuance differences... its not significant. 2017 thru 2019 is the most efficient and best value of all years. The price per ml on the gray market isn't terrible and they have aged beautifully already
Very good point. I would never pay well over the original price for any fragrance - it's just not worth it. I've seen on eBay some 2014 Aventus listed for like ÂŁ3000. I hope no one buys them.
Aventus is getting worse. Why on earth Creed changed the formula? It's more like Afnan Supremacy now, a Creed Aventus clone which I can't stand.
Creed aventus does not worth too much price ,price of it was supposed to be on the price levels of ordinary tomford perfumes the least,and tomfoerd perfumes even perform way better than creed aventus
